    He had Gigantisim (or sometihng like that), that was basicly a highely over active pituitary gland. The defect is now treatable (my brother went to middle school and HS with a guy with the same problem). He died of heart failure in 1993 (thank you WP).

    He was also French, thus Tycho is excused any way.

    And the pyro?

    And as far as the engineer being David Hewett's SG-Atlantis personality: we need to have CONTRASTING personalities and classes. The engineer should be the technology nerd. Overall the need to be as obessed about what their class's role is as the HW guy was.

    I should also point out that the scout and engineer have the least armor and health in the original TFC. The engineer's EMP grenades and the stuff they build are their true strengths.

    It is kinda sad.

    At the end of EP1 I was REALLY looking forwards to EP2.

    Then Portal got tied in with EP2, so I really wanted EP2 even MORE!

    Now TF2 is tied in with it, and TF2 is looking better and better by the second!

    I remember setting a 30s timer on a bridge.
    Everything went on as normal(because noone plays as scout) except with a bomb in the middle making people vaguely nervous... then suddenly, there's a LOUD WHINE, and I get 3 kills. Pure luck, never did it again, but crazy lulz.

    I can definately picture the engineer yabbering on about comedic engineering subjects at length; like any hardened car mechanic can talk about the difference in quality in between car A'a engine and car B's right off the bat, and then supply a history about why that is why it is. In the TF2 universe there could be some really funny engineering history for him to yack on about.

    No techno geek ever smoked huge cigars and hit things with spanners. The engineer's the guy who <i>uses</i> this stuff, not the guy who <i>makes</i>. Engineer's a mechanic.     I agree with almost all of these. I really like the idea of the spy being a crazy Frenchman. I don't totally like your engineer idea and I don't think I wan to hear a voice like Ahnold's to voice the soldier. As for the Pyro, watch the show on Comedy Cenral called "Half Way Home" and base it somewhat off of the pyromaniac from there. I'm thinking of a particular episode when he is high and hehas a light match in his hand which he repeatedly calls beautiful and tries to "pet" it.
