While that scene is extremely poetic, it doesn't do it for me quite like the scene where Theoden rallied the Rohirrim on the hill above the dark armies. The funny thing is, the second time I saw the movie, the scene seemed overstretched and almost goofy except for the very beginning of the charge, which still sends chills through my body.

The Rohirrim Charge scene I love as well, that's also incredibly powerful. I just picked on the singing/charge scene specifically because it's not really in the book (not in the way it's done in the movie), but it was still done particularly well.

Meh, as far as film scenes go, i'm probably going to only remember things i've seen semi recently so whatever. The last scene in Memento struck me as pretty damn cool, as he is driving down some road thinking to himself about what just happened, and trying to come to terms with things. Then that dissapears from his mind and he skids to a stop, and reads one of his post-it notes. "Now, where was I?" Cool film in every aspect really.
