Film Scenes That Made You Tingle
<div class="IPBDescription">ones that were poetic and well made...</div> It's simple, take your all time favourite movie, and then say your favourite scene. Or if it's not from your favourite, so be it.
My personal favourite scene of all time is the Opening sequence from Apocalypse Now. Napalm, The Doors, and Martin Sheen. It really gave me a sense that a war like Vietnam was gridlocked by the half heartedness of the men who faught it. It was a modern war where moral ground is a null. Innocents died at the hands of both sides, and even without showing scenes of this, the opening sequence for Apocalypse Now succeeded in telling this.

His stand off with the police in his apartment at the end where he saves Matilida and then somehow escapes himself only to be cut down by the stories real bad guy is one of my favorite scenes.
the action sequences were gritty and amazing yet still believable, the music was powerful yet not overbearing. Escpecailly the piano at the very end.
As Leon falls you can still see the taxis and people going about their daily lives in the background totally unaware of the saga that just unfolded and probably not caring. Just as in reality Life goes on and evrything just witnessed will stick around in peoples mind for as long as the news covers it.

You know, the one whose sponge wasn't soaked. Utterly disgusting, not so much because of the intense display of suffering and a rather gruesome death, but because of hatred and evil that led to such cruelty.
Also, the electrocution of John Coffey. Just so incredibly tragic. I can say without shame my eyes filled with tears at that scene. Both times. Gotta see it a third time and see if the effect is still there.</span><!--QuoteEnd--></td></tr></table><div class='postcolor'><!--QuoteEEnd-->
And then there's Fight Club. A movie that inspired me, besides just being good entertainment. There are some really valid messages there if you look past the violence that the movie seems to advocate, but actually speaks out against at the same time.
"You are not a beatiful, unique snowflake." Or, as I like to put it: If everyone's special, being special has no relevance.
Also, the hand burning scene in particular spoke volumes.
I know there's more, but I can't think of it atm. I hope somebody else reminds me.
(Cried at home for "the green mile") :-)
If you haven't seen it yet, you're really missing out.
T2 for the end scene with the thumbs up, Like Tim Bisley I too cried once at that scene <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->
Most present in my mind at the moment now though is the scene at the end of Donnie Darko, the 'encounter' (with Frank). It's a horribly dark scene which really is just the tie in the ribbon of the whole movie, and theres a heavy feeling of things being ultimately wrapped up and concluded with that scene - Donnie no longer hesitates about what he has to do from that point on. But the tingle comes from Franks entrance to the scene, with slow realizatation of what's going on.
Actually there are more tingle moments in this movie than that for me, but that's the hugest one.
Not quite a movie this one, but when I first had Quake2 I always used to have a huge tingly sensation once the pods in the intro break into the Strogg's atmosphere and Rob Zombie's music kicks up.
The end of The Usual Suspects, where the cop is working out exactly what has happened, looking over the message board and noticing various names/words/pictures that sound...familiar...Kevin Spacey goes for a stroll - pure genius, just made me feel so good as it all came together. And then the final words are awesome too. *blows*

Did you mean
What Dreams May Come?
See? I knew something would come up. So insufferably tragic. And yeah, the kid's name is Danny.
And Schindler's list as well. Sorry, but "Schnidler" made me blurt out laughing. ^_^
*Favorite scene, too many to choose from. All I can say on my part is that no other movie brought tears to my eyes caused by happiness, sadness, unfairness and and the friendship. The last part always gets me really down in the heart.
I got a bit wrecked once and watched Dragonball Z movie, the one with Brolli..
[at the time... ] the scene where Brolli powers up, and Vagita falls to his knees was the most beatiful thing i'd ever witnessed.
"the.. legendary.. super.. sayajin.. he'll kill us all"
Ill try to think of some .. ahem.. more credible ones..
The ending of T2. Anyone who does not at least feel a lump in their throat when you see him "dying" from his own perspective is an inhuman monster.
Saving Private Ryan. The whole film has an impact, because it doesn't really try and make anything nice (which, since I've never been much of a war-film fan, was a first for me). The part at the start where the door opens and they all just get owned is always stuck in my memory (even though I know it's fake, I know that the real event can't have been much different, which just plain scares me). But the part that gets the moist eyes going is when you just see Capt. Miller's hand still.
Not a film, but the final episode of Blackadder Goes Forth. The way the guys are obviously trying to act brave as if they don't care about going over the top, and then George just says "Sir... I don't want to die, sir". I don't care what anyone says, but that episode is an example of fantastic writing at it's very, very, very best.

Damn, yeah. Sorry.

Damn right, Ben Elton isn't it?
...for puppets.
I'm not much of a crier for movies though, I think the closest I came to was a couple tears years ago when watching Stepmom in theatres. I hardly even remember that movie anymore.
I just think it's a brilliant piece of cinematography.

The pure visuals of that gesture with the background mixed, just beautiful.
EDIT: Converted to spoiler because it makes more sense.
Very near the end of the movie, when he's being dragged by you know who, and then he's being taken away and gives you know who a rude gesture.

Actually, yes, that was rather good. Keanu Reeves is often a somewhat wooden dude actor, but I think he fitted that role quite well. <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->

Yeah, that's a good one.
The Rohirrim charge is the big one for me, though. Holy crap. I get chills every time. <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->
Have to agree. The scene that makes me cry every single time I watch it is when he calls home from jail. I really think Requiem for a Dream could be the best movie ever made. I've seen it more than 15 times.
The first time I watched it, I thought it was the most depressing movie I had ever seen, but the second it was done, I rewound the tape and watched it again. It was that good.
