While that scene is extremely poetic, it doesn't do it for me quite like the scene where Theoden rallied the Rohirrim on the hill above the dark armies. The funny thing is, the second time I saw the movie, the scene seemed overstretched and almost goofy except for the very beginning of the charge, which <i>still</i> sends chills through my body.

The Rohirrim Charge scene I love as well, that's also incredibly powerful. I just picked on the singing/charge scene specifically because it's not really in the book (not in the way it's done in the movie), but it was still done particularly well.

Everything had value for him at that moment, at least in my eyes. That was absolutely heartwarming and heartbreaking for me at the same time.

Meh, as far as film scenes go, i'm probably going to only remember things i've seen semi recently so whatever. The last scene in Memento struck me as pretty damn cool, as he is driving down some road thinking to himself about what just happened, and trying to come to terms with things. Then that dissapears from his mind and he skids to a stop, and reads one of his post-it notes. "Now, where was I?" Cool film in every aspect really.

hmm laste night i was watching "The Darkness" the movie about the dead kids in that house.
That one scene where the girl finds that scary picture knocked off the wall on the floor and she picks it up and one of the people in the picture is missing.

Is it just me or does the phrase "when vader chucks palpatine over the edge" just take away from the feeling of that scene <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo--> The wording of it, that is.
That one scene where the girl finds that scary picture knocked off the wall on the floor and she picks it up and one of the people in the picture is missing.
