Well.. I was busy modifying a Talon, but sadly, it became to expensive... so I sold it and bought the little silver bullet down below.
Before you see the pictures.. well.. at least completely, its a 2004 Sunfire (Ecotech 2.2L DOHC) rated at 145 hp, but actually puts out around 165 to the wheels.
Already complted minor upgrades to the engine, added K&N filter, breather filter, and of course adjusted the timing via computer hook up I have. Removed the rev limiter as well, and this summer I will be putting on 16 inch alloys. Marvel in her glory.
1950 Schwinn Black Phantom, with knee-action and locking fork - born on 09/11/50. It was purchased new by my Daddy after he came home from WWII, and currently resides in my bros garage in Florida. He and I are going to fully restore it.

Well, the GSX is coming along nicely... I think I've finished repairing the last of the damage from the prior owner, though I still have to check a few things for 'hidden upgrades'... mostly the fuel pump, as there's no AFPR on the rail, and I think he might have swapped up to a 255lph Walbro high-pressure in preperation for a turbo upgrade. Would explain my crap gas mileage, the hesitation on initial throttle response (flooding), and soot deposits on the inside of the tailpipe.
Unfortunately, the starter just died. So it's MIA until Wednesday at least. Hopefully I'll get my next paycheck and dump it into the car before too long, and be back to scaring the ponies and civic-boys before too long. ^_^
On a related note, got to hit Mitsubishi Owners' Day, last Saturday. The turnout was staggering... they were originally handing out hats and goodie-bags, but ran out of the hats by the time I got there, and the goodie bags were gone three cars later. Eclipse 1g/2g and Evo parking was packed, overflow was overflowed... hell, even the Starion parking lot was jammed full. They rolled out all the old concept cars, new concepts upcoming, artwork, design drawings, and so on, and even brought out some of the new '06 Eclipses.. including one of the prototypes, with 410hp under max accelleration. Unfortunately they decided to drop the 'e-boost' rear electric motor on the production model. Also, one of their new rally-car looking SUVs didn't completely repulse me, much to my surprise. Even moreso, it was listed as using the 4g63 engine (same as in my Eclipse), but a full-on twin sequential turbo pushing 260hp and 290ft/lb. Ended up buying a 4g63t t-shirt, even if the proceeds were going to DARE... a COMPLETELY USELESS program.

Talesin: Excellent that your gsx is getting closer to being done, when are you planning on doing the swap with the little mirage?
Shockwave: The Civic type r you posted is just a Si, type-r was reserved for the Acura badge label. (Those who don't know the difference, usually the Type-R had a 2.2L or 1.8L DOHC V-Tech turbo (Acura Integra cira 97-99). Si have a 2.2L or 2.0L DOHC V-Tech Natural Aspiration)
Depot: Excellent bicycle, I used to have one with the skinny wheels as well, but then sadly it was crunched by a suburban. Good point Cyndane. If you guys and gals want to post pix of your wheels here, how about taking one of your personal vehicle (whatever it may be) rather than post one "that looks just like mine". Doesn't EVERYone have, or at least have access to, a digi-cam nowadays ?!?!?

I can't do the swap with the GSX. If I could... whoo. It'd be done already. The problem is that the GSX has a 7 inch wider wheelbase, meaning I can't just steal the tranny and toss it on the Mirage (with modded floorpan and gas tank).
The original donor car was the GS-T, but I sold that to a friend to get a bit more cash. For the time being, I'll be using the Mirage as a beater.. run the engine until it dies, while saving up money for the initial engine and tranny swap. I also intend to keep the GSX, and mod it as well, when I can afford it.
Out in the realm of insanity, I also want to at least pick up a white 3000GT shell (if not complete car). They're pointless for modding, as they perform so well and so little can really be done to them, due to space constraints.. but at that point I'd just hire drivers to get to MOD, and park the Mirage, Eclipse, and 3KGT next to each other, all badged 'INVADER' on the back window.. with subtexts for each: Vootrunner, Vootcruiser, and The Massive.
