    Actually Frost, entitlements have to be paid even if it needs to be tacked onto the debt. It would have to change one fiscal year ahead to change entitlements. So technically they wouldn't be left in the cold if it runs sour. Only by a congressional bill.

    Woot, Woot! for Bush...It feels good to win, feels better to win by a majority, and feels really good to be voted in by more people than any other president.  I have a feeling he'll let loose a little this time around - now that he doesn't have to calculate every political move.

    Anyway, it will be an exciting 4 years <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/smile-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile-fix.gif' /><!--endemo--> <!--QuoteEnd--></td></tr></table><div class='postcolor'><!--QuoteEEnd-->

    4 mores years of torment and to top it off, tons of retarded laws going into play. GOP controls both the Senate and the House. This is going to be a VERY long 4 years.

    Congrats to Bush, hope he has a good term.

    Congrats to Kerry for conceding decently instead of running off to cry in the corner or insulting Bush.

    Chem- I indeed am a socialist. I am an atheist. However, I don't mind Christians. Neither do I think that evangelical Christians are uneducated. I just don't like their views. I consider evangelical Christians AND uneducated fools two types (among many more, of course) of people that would vote for Bush. And I don't label things good or evil, I label things as "things I like" and "things I hate".

    And on the whole "Communist Utopia". I think Marx's use of such phrases was dumb, nearly as dumb as Bush's "Axis of Evil". Of course no society could ever be anything even approaching a utopia. People are just to different (not that that's a bad thing).

    milton- Why is my post hateful? Is it because I hate Bush? Is it because I hate evangelical Christians (which I actually don't)? Is it beacuse I hate uneducated fools? Am I not entitled to hate people? I'm not European, I'm Australian by birth and American by upbringing. And traditionalism isn't necassarily stupid, but alot (not all, of course) of evangelical Christians like to call themselves the "moral majority" when their views do not reflect those of the majority. They also generally support Republicans, so that's why I said that. And I never made any indication that I thought it was stupid.

    I do consider Bush a fasicist (or at least nearly fascist). You could easily argue that. But I don't see how you could argue that the economy is going through the tubes.

    Congratulations America on quite probably electing Bush again. You've just sentenced more Americans to die overseas in illegal and illegitimate wars. Who's next, Syria? Iran? North Korea? Or maybe Canada, since you know, we harbor "terrorists" and all that (*cough* oil *cough*). Oh, and also you just signed away a lot of your freedoms and rights. Ironic that Bush is fighting to give Iraq "freedom" (by controlling the country and letting it degenerate into chaos) while he takes freedom away from his own citizens with the USA PATRIOT act and PATRIOT II. Congratulations on re-electing a leader that rules by fear and paranioa. He'll keep raising the terror alert, and then look like he somehow prevented terrorist attacks when nothing happens! Amazing how that works, when you raise an alert for little or no reason and nothing happens. All the alert does is cause fear and paranoia, since there isn't anything the average citizen can do to protect themselves from an unknown kind of attack that will happen at an unknown time in an unknown place. Its like constantly living in fear that you might drop dead from a heart attack, which, by the way, is statistically more likely to happen (more Americans die from heart attacks than terrorism). I remember a time when the US used to be respected, when the US went to war to defend itself and its allies, not to finish what its president's father started. Too bad that had to end. <b>Have a fun four years being universally hated, despised and loathed.</b> Assuming Bush manages to actually WIN his second term, unlike the first one. If he does win, you can sum up the results in 7 letters: "gg world"<!--QuoteEnd--></td></tr></table><div class='postcolor'><!--QuoteEEnd-->

    I'm guessing most Americans ignore terror alerts. I don't constantly live in fear. I still have my freedom. I don't consider the war in Iraq to be "illegal", instead I see it as protecting America in the long run. Saddam Hussein was never going to be our friend. Despite what you would like to think, Bush did win the 2000 election. If others don't like America, that's their problem. Voting for the president is about doing what is best for America, not the rest of the world.

    HEIL BUSH.

    Let's throw some darts at a map and see which country America conquers next. You only get do-overs if you land on a nuclear power.

    my wallets cires

    I still love America, but my "america"..........
    the one with my girlfriend, friends, family, and comforts. I dont take this for granted, but I do take credit away from its 'Leader', and give it to thepeople who actually do fight and die for it, not make half assed decisions and cater to 'special interests' or daddy's pans

    I am constantly ashamed of being "American", this only furthers that.

    I can only now pray, that while mostly wrong, we can win this 'war', and come out with as few deaths as possible.

    Kerry may not have been better, but no one can say for certain, at least with him in office we would have has SOME chance of things turning for the better........ everyone, pro or anit, knows how the next 4 years are going to be.
