So in the spirtit that is sweeping the boreds atm, I figgured I would add in my other current obsesion:

Basicaly, yourstandard RO clone.
Free Atm, nice graphics, booring combat (but so is most MMO combat)
Perks:
Skills seem realy cool, you get chain skills that are realy cool.
At Level 16 you get your aviation licence and can now get a broom or a board to fly around on <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->
Things I have learned so far:
1) Do not click on options on the launcher, this will cause your game to be in Korean (you can fix this by fliping a bit in an ini file)
2) There are no good guides for this game yet, so asking people is the only realy way to find stuff out
Skills:
At level 3 you get your first skill (clean hit)
Open your skill tab, click on Clean hit. You will now see details on it above, click on the little rectangle so that it showes an up arrow instead of a dash, you will now level up this skill.
Drag and drop the skill to your hotkeys to use it in combat.
At level 5 you will get your second skill, Brandish. This is the first chain skill.
To use it drop cleanhit and then brandish into your action slots (to the right of hotkeys). Pres c and you will unleash with your new combo, it is spiffy.
Quests are your standard "go here, kill that, get me this"
1) Kill bats. On the town side of one of the bridges there is a man who will ask you to kill bats for him. You get $100, for this, nice way to start things off.
2) in town there is a map maker who will direct you to 2 other map makers to get you your map of the island.
3) at level 5 there is a guy N of town that will talk about getting a drink. Kill 10 25 baddies to get a cap outa it.
Partying seems to work vry well (even at low levels)
You can not gank kills (you can't even fight stuff that some one else is fighting)

The grind reminds me of RO more then MS...

The class advancment looks odd.
Warrior becomes knight or assassin
mage becomes elementalist or something else
cleric becomes buffmaster or sometihng else (I think a fighter...)
Also where do I get a flying thing? I WANT TO ENJOY MY MAGICAL FLYING DAMMIT.
Edit: OH GOD THE ENGLISH SOOO BAD AGH MUST PLAY MAPLESTORY IN ORDER TO BE REMINDED THAT IT IS POSsibLE TO SPEAK ENGLISH WELL.

things are a bit clearer if you talk to the NPCs (you do have it in english, right?)
I will not be on untill around 8ish (work sucks)
and yus, the engrish is horrible. but I am willing to give it to em as this was just released for the international version... (as far as I can tell)
I stand corrected, level 15 is the job change.
Some more things I have picked up:
For those that want to be a mage/assist, the first grind is not that bad as you get a free respec with your job change!
You also get a quest that gives you a one use board for flying around, some new pics from that:

At level 7 (I think) you can start taking quests from the wuest person (you get a metric arse load of XP!)
Also one of those quests gets you that temp board I posted before.

I just played a little bit and I have to say this game oozes style and polish. The UI is kinda cool (it's even got it's own lil windows style start button XD ), the character designs are all nice, the graphics are pleasant and they've even got a neat lil thing with battle music.
While the combat will no doubt be sorta pretty non-active until I get skills the fights are mercifully fast and actually kinda flashy (even if it is automated) :o

Merc - Blade (assassin) or Knight
Mage - Elemntalist or sometihng (forgot)
Assist - Ring Master or Billposter (I think)
you can figgure em out by looking at the skill lists, each of the advanced classes ave a skill starting at lvl 60 requiring a certain other skill (just see where that skill is from)

I got gem on a game before she got me onto it!
oh, and it isn't JUST combat music, there is music keyyed in with all different stuff (the first time you fly is just fuggen sw33t).

only 2 more hrs and I will be home and grinding away!
Oh, and as you get skills combat just gets more flashy! (unfortunatly the 3 vagrant skills all have to be chained, so it is kinda silly, it realy is just skill lvl1, 2, 3)
