[wip]high Poly Light Machine Gun Skin

<div class="IPBDescription">Revived for the past; My 3rd skin</div> Well after doing the High Poly Resource Tower (by: Zerobyte) skin i wanted to do more high poly stuff. I started on my third skin for the High Poly Light Machine Gun (by: Reddmonkey) to more match my skin to the HP_Res_Node and since my my first skin i ever made was for the HP_LMG ill do this again for you guys.....

well anyway enough talking and here is a preview of what i got so far....

    very nice, i like the contrast; most skins i see don't have much contrast and it leads to a dull looking skin.

    thank you bashh, but i never would of been making things as contrasted as i am now if it wasnt for you telling me to, on the Knife/Pistol i had skinend for you, needed to be more contrasted.

    can you take off the scope? hehe, very nice though so far, but you Might want to increase the lenght of the mag, remember that thing holds 50 rounds. keep it up
    oh and if your gonna do HP stuff do a HP shotgun I love the defualt <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->

    your using a different technique on the resnode you said, so I assume your also using it on this skin, and it should be interesting to see how it compares to the 2 lmg skins you did so long ago ^_^

    /edit Hawk, he is not modeling this he is just making a skin for it, the model was made a while ago by Redd

    and also Udder said he would be resuming work on the HP shotty, but who knows how that's going, haven't seen him around here in a while

    the only problem i actually had with the skins you did before was the middle part below the scope. the barrel rocked. the magazine rocked. the back rocket. but the middle was too damn plain and spoilt the rest of the gun <!--emo&:angry:--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/mad-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='mad-fix.gif' /><!--endemo--> . anyway mind putting in a blue scope texture this time around. the other two were grey <!--emo&;)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/wink-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wink-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->

    The mag is actually the same length as the default, it's probably just the render doesnt show it that well.

    ugh geez u nublars remeber how i put green on the last, (for the restower) after i got the other stuff done. Well. i will do the same for this at the end

    i got everything thats black on the gun done so far but im not gonna show another render till i get the first map done.

    I'm using one of your skins right now, but I recolored it to match the original LMG; I'd suggest sticking to the original color schemes as long as you're starting over.

    wow yay mr socks is the best cause he reads things i say unlike many other people who dont know how to read.

    well since its easter i haev to be goin places n all so ill just show u what it looks like right now but im not done with the first mesh yet

    and yes thoughs parts r black on the first one so dont be dumb and say omg all black no color... and anyway colors going on at end

    EDIT: o yeah the meshers needs to be stabed lol because he has so many things backwards and what not lol.. ull see what i mean when i show u the map

    never fully understood something about that gun, what is that opening underneath the scope? it looks like the ejection port but thats in the middle.

    That "ejection port" under the scope is a screen that is supposed to tell the stats of the gun. Heat, bullets total/bullets left, etc.

    it doesnt really work.. just like the m4a1 pulse rifle (i prolly have those numbers mixed up)

    you cant really animate a texture on a weapon.. you can only make it show things during different animations by moving the layers around...

    what im trying to say is all it does is show a constant blue lcd with some pictures on it..
