    Edit: Are you sure the patch is coming? Servers have downtime all the time; and there's no post on the front page about it.

    Thundgot (official blizz rep for the EU) said it's confirmed that the new release date for the patch is indeed this friday so chances are it's true :3

    Yeah, surprising, eh?

    Anyhow, the servers are down so Blizz can run 'maintenance' on them, which means they're patching them, also check out the best comic in the world, The WoW Forums for confirmation the patch is released today.

    Yay, Archimonde is down for none other than <i>mail maintenence.</i> Or some poppy cosh about making the in game mail system better.

    On an off note, I just bought a new axe, <b><span style='color:blue'>Bloodspiller</b></span> (does 26.<something> DPS, has a chance on hit to make target bleed for 110 damage over 30 seconds) for seven gold on the AH. Thing is though, there were two of them on there for seven gold, one with a +5 enchantment, and one without.

    I'll just have to console myself with the fact that I can still eradicate all life from a Horde town in less than 5 minutes. I think I am going to gank a hordelet for every point of mana reduction they removed.

    Maybe just one Hordelet 25 times.



    Or not. At least now we have a new instance to play in. I'm really looking forward to the new equipment they have added.

    You could just read the patch notes that have been out for weeks to know that those features aren't a part of the current patch. <!--emo&;)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/wink-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wink-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->

    In other news, FileMirrors gave me the wrong file, so I'm back to square one. The Blizz auto-patcher is still crunching along at an (literally) immeasurably slow rate, leaving me to curse WPI NetOps and their anti-peer-to-peer policy. Fortunately, FilePlanet has the full patch file now, so I'm suppose I'm just going to sit in line for an hour and a half and get it that way.

    honor system will horribly suck. Have fun lvling characters up with no penalties of killing lowbies. My fave is the pic of a 60 shaman kililng a Lakeshire guard. God thats leetsauce.

    Especially when people make posts about my guild basically saying go gank horde lowbie towns and stop ganking 60 PvE'rs who are trying to do UBRS BRD

    It doesn't matter anymore, anyway. It seems as though Blizz knocked out their whole WoW network, as the website, forums, and auth server have all been extremely spotty today.

    I find this statement to be horribly wrong. Most of the ganking that takes place is done mostly by "casual gankers" people that are bored or can't think of anything else to do. With the honor system they don't really gain anything from doing this, only the real anti-social smacktards will continue to gank lowbies.
