Left the computer on overnight and neary crapped myself when the program froze in the morning.... killed the thread and restarted, 1mb to finish and it worked.
They halved the cost of DD02 which is annoying because that can take days of play to raise if you have a crappy ship. The least they could do when changing the economy is to change the money for players, those who have DD02's should get the difference back, and the same for other neutral ships.... really annoying now cause im probably 2 weeks away from Z1 because the money system is so damned stupid.

Remember that to gain money, you need to not sink. Sinking will near enough guarantee that you will break even/go into the negatives after a battle, so make sure to survive your battles and retreat if you have to.
Also, winning a battle gets you double credits as well. If you stick to low-level destroyer games (I host a lot of those) then you'll stand a better chance at both surviving and winning. I made 1000 credits last night in about half an hour, with two destroyer battles. One of those, I even ran dry on ammo and had to retreat.

I hope Hellfire3k's rebuilt pack works, or at least reduces the amount of 'auto' patching required...

Ammo take up turret space, and turrets take up turret space. If you have a big gun, then there is hardly space left for ammo. When I was low level I would always bring 10 sets, but now only 3 sets fit.
when you have dual and triple or quad(brits only) turrets, you will go through ammo like crazy. with the 5x3" dual on my fletcher, i will routinely shoot over 1200 shells per battle.

Rob

Although i have not taken the British road, some quick calculations from trainworld.org give me the following results:
To buy an O class destroyer : $ 32760 With 4 x 4"/40 guns, an engine, an fcs and 1 torp launcher : $ 53360
Remember that this is without armour, so you will probably want to save at least 60k before you buy the ship. These are also pretty rough estimates, so don't take these numbers to heart.
trainworld is a great site for figuring out prices. Just remember that after the last update, the value of all neutral destroyers pretty much halved, so you might be in a tight spot if you bought the ship before that patch came out.

Unless you can speak chinese, you will probably be better clicking on "English data version".
Next, you can ignore all the stuff in the main body of the page and instead look to the left hand side. There you have a list of all the information. Under "ship information" there is a button labled "DD", a button labled "FF" and four flags which probably link you to the corresponding nations ship data. On the right you have a "ship chart", which probably leads to some type of chart or something. Perhaps even a chart that stores information on ships!
Further down, we have such confusing titles as "Experience gain table" and "Experience gain vs. ship table". These are all under the heading of "Other information for sailers", so it is a safe bet that they will link you to information about sailers.
Even further down there are headings with even more confusing titles. "Regular gun information" and "AA gun information" actually lead to information on the different guns in Navyfield, as unexpected as that is.
The site is really easy to use, you just need to explore a bit and have an ounce of common sense.
I haven't been playing for the past few days. I've been wrapped up in Republic Commando and Brothers in Arms. I'll be playing against soon, though. I'm like, level 11.
I'm only 29 and don't have enough money for a CL

What's your cap/ship name?
