btw. 1 tip for new players, to get a friends list and to be able to whisper someone, you have to get a radio man. You need a level 6 sailor, and change his class to Radio Man, it costs a few thousand points. After you have a lvl 6 sailor, go to the shipyard and choose FORCE to view your current sailors. Click on the CLS button near the lvl 6 sailor, and choose Radio Man and press Enter.
Everytime u start up you need to drag your radio man from your shipyard to the red dotted circle, to make your communications work. You can right click on him to add players, and left click to communicate and stuff.
Um, ok, I bought a destroyer and now all my sailors are gone. Where'd they go? Please don't tell me i'm stuck with nub guns until I train a new batch of sailors up?
They should be on your frigate, that you probably haven't SOLD yet. The manual says there is a button CHANGE that can scroll through your ship, but personally I haven't found it. I just sold my destroyer and then sold my frigate then bought the destroyer again. Btw. if you sell ships and equipment you get 100% money back, and on some things you lose 2% of the money.
The "switch ship" button is in the shipyard, near the "exit to battle" arrow. If you got a nation's DD you need to go back to Buzan to be able to see your old ship.

that's rct, but adding even 10 makes every little difference and nothing beyond the white sliver. Not to mention I've taken it above the starting levels and it doesn't change anything. My American Operator is below 50% health now and I don't want to lose him.

Hrm, NF is the win... finally got the hang of aiming guns and working my way up to a stronger ship, if i can land a square broadside a frigate goes down in one salvo... <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->

Is it normal that my BO levels way slower then the arms sailors?
My BO and the 2 arms sailors reached lvl 17 almost simultaneously, but now the arms sailors reached lvl18 while the BO is still far behind in his 17s :O
I'm having problems with the game. Every time I load it up,it freezes on the third loading screen and doesn't do anything. Then it randomly (after restarting) lets me in sometimes. Is there a way around this?

I am approaching level12 now, but i have no idea what the difference between the nations is. Does anyone have any idea what the differences are between the four nations?
brits: very good armor, short range guns, germs: good armor, long range guns, good fighters, expensive ships and equipment japs: bad but very cheap armor, very good torpedos, torpedo bombers US: good carriers, good antiaircraft, good bombers, medium armor and guns
well this is annoying, I can't win. I've been among the only ships left, all other teams dead: defeat I've been the flagship in the same situation: defeat
the team that deals the most damage wins. it doesn't matter if you're the last one the map. if the other team does huge damge to your ships and then both sides do mass withdrawls but you are left fighting with the remnants, and kick their ****, you still lose if your team did less damage in total

Gwahir come to #ns-nf on gamesurge, we are launching collective games from there to help each other (If AntiFreeze doesn't TK you, that is <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo--> )
i think i'm going to stop playing this. it was fun for a while, but it's awfully repetitive and from browsing the official forums it seems the dev team are a bunch of tards and there are way too many glaring problems that they're just not willing to address. i'll check back in a few months to see what's up then.
Hm, this is starting to get old pretty fast. <!--emo&:(--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/sad-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->
Was fun when the pace of the game was going pretty fast, but right now I need to save up to at least 25000 credits before I can sell my destroyer and get a nation ship. 14k to go, and in the last 24 hours I've managed to get less than 1500 credits. bah.
yeah the economy is one of the worst parts of the game. i've managed to get about 4000 credits in the last 2 days. i gained 12 levels in my first 2 days, 3 on my third day, and 1 on my 4th day. on higher levels you need to play literally hundreds of hours for 1 level, and it's kinda stupid to spend all that time if you ask me. it wouldn't be so bad if you were making little exp and lots of credits, but you make so little of both that it's not worth playing. i've played 5 days and i'm level 20. people who have played for THREE MONTHS are only level 40...

There were 5 of us left on our team, mostly undamaged.
There were a total of 4 retreats.
Maybe because the other two teams duked it out more... that could have caused it, though I did a fair amount of damage...
Really getting annoying that I used to win all the time now I'm always on the losing side. I needs money for my next ship.
