Level 19 in 3 days, got 10k cash today. \o/ btw join my "low level only 5on5" games when you see them, it makes getting money easier because those high level dudes do not instantly rape you over the moon.
well, I've run into a snag. I've sold my ship and I have over 62k I have an american operator and an american gunner type class sailor guy thing. But it tells me there are no more items to buy in the american port... any ideas?
you have to activate the american ship line by using the "SHP" button under your american operator. fiddle around with it a bit and then you should be able to buy ships at new york

It burns...
There is nothing more thrilling than dumping a salvo of shells into a player and doing 1000 damage. And sometime firing and wondering why the hell your shells aren't getting to their target, then fireing again. Then have obst swear lots because his ship sank. And then realising we had clipped into each other. Ooops
My ship has just reached level 20 and i have about 4000 credits and 150 points. 5x dual 4.1 guns. 6" belt armour and stage 2 bulk head armour. Now running a heavy engine because on a standrd i cruised at 35 knots and that was painfully slow.
Unfortunatly though the list of game bugs & problems is quickly mounting... Crashing, turrets not turning while ship i turning, crappy ship control, being able to sink all opposition ships and stll loose the battle, all ships turning red on the map so you cant tell whos who, no options screen or way to turn down FX volume, no quick rearm button

hey guys do you know if one of the armor things gives you more space for ammo and such? because right now all I have on my freshly remodeled Q class is 1X4.70 inch dual cannon (200 rounds goes) and 2X4tube torp launchers (1 with 8 torps the other with 4)
so right now I'm somewhat underarmed (those extra 4 torps would be helpful)
BTW the Q class ROXXOR it's so fast that even with 1 dual cannon I can still put up a fight

gah, sounds like a torp ****. To e honest once i get close enough to one they have never managed to put up a fight. Get in so close the torps cant arm and just keep the broadsiding going till they sink. I have had a few huge no torp games, had onewhich was 28 per team. Was a level 26 a below battle i think so we had frigates and no nation destroyers.
On another note i chose german. I wish i hadn't, the british ships are so small and well armoured thye are a pig to take down.
How come whenever (like 90%) of the time when I want to go into a room it says its full even with 1 person in it, or "You can't enter this battle now" or some other crap. I usually wait around half an hour for one battle to join.

Are you trying to join rooms with the name "Battle" or other rooms? You can't join "Battle" rooms because they are already fighting in there, if it also happens when trying to join others, well, it is the nubarea, people may mess their hosted games up because they have no idea <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->

i need some advice. i've given up on my american dd, and have started anew. i'm torn between germans and brits. i haven't used them, but i want to know about their guns. are ALL german guns longer range and more accurate than their counterparts? i hear brit guns are all short range and/or inaccurate to make up for their beefy armored ships. is this true as well?
Realism... This game does not care that much about realism <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->
btw why is the maximum name length in the buddy list shorter than most of the names? (eg. Legionnaired doesn't fit in)

So perhaps they neglected to increase the max character limit in the friends list.
I've given up on the game, it's more frustrating than it is fun most of the time, maybe if they fix the money and xp then I might give it another try, but I'm doubt much will be done soon enough.
I'm amazed at how some people actually make enough money in this game to buy heavier ships. The most I've ever made from one battle is about 300 credits, and most of that goes into ammunition and repairs. I walked away from a Great Battle once with 700 credits, took no damage the entire match, and came back to the shipyard with less money than I started.
I heard that a cheap CA is around 400k, not even fully equipped. Insane how people come up with that much money so fast.
BBs are truly impressive to see, however. I watched one in a massive battle, manned by a member of Team NF. He was sinking a lot of mid-level nation destroyers in one or two salvos. Every few seconds you'd see another ship go down. I think that one ship must've destroyed at least twenty in that match, including our team's only two CLs.

recently i have been coming away with 900+ a round. Made 6000 today. My fighting style usually involves getting to the action quick but staying with the pack. Without it you stand no chance. I also try to get a 1 allied ship between me and the enemy to divert fire, i then pound from range. When then allied ship goes down or the enemy has taken a sufficient beating i will move close to the enemy ships and just fire like crazy. I usually come out of a round dealing 5000+ damage even when my team looses.
Does your FF dealt count as damage? <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->

The new guns are hard to get used to. Slow reload, plenty of damage, harder to aim.
