Haters. argh, that rat should of been rescued and rehomed. <a href='http://www.fancy-rats.co.uk' target='_blank'>http://www.fancy-rats.co.uk</a> Give it to your local rat shelter, UK or US, theres plenty around, believe me. They rehome them as rats are the most social rodent out there, and are smarter than horses. Rehomed/Rescued rats get along easier with humans than domestically raised ones.

Oh wow....if it was a gorge....well, that'd be a health risk as well, though of an entirely different variety.
My curiosity at the wonder of how the rat behaved would probably be tenfold for a real live gorge that just suddenly showed up in my house. Yeah, I'd definitely want it captured alive, though I'd rather it go to a more secured location instead of trying to keep it as a pet.
[edit]And if I had something like that, I think people would understand if I decided to make a road trip and miss a few normal daily obligations <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->

we saw it and it ran outside we closed all the doors and windows and set a few big rat traps (one of which was in our 3rd floor balcony) the rat set the trap off and didnt die instantly instead he struggled for about 2 min then fell off the 3rd floor breaking its back when it hit the floor

That was awesome, I just wish the trap would snap down with more power to crush it's head... or you rigged explosives to it that blew up a couple of seconds after the thing was caught. I never had rats, but I'm sure they'd be hell... and I'd probably buy myself a B. B. Gun.
The best programs are Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premier, and Avid. I'd go with those if you have a choice. iMovie and Windows Movie Maker should only be used if you have no alternative/are poor.

oh, and Marik: I see nothing wrong with killing it, it just looks way to cute as it pokes its head out and is all cautious and such.
So I can't even watch that knowing what is coming next <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo-->

News update: we plugged up the hole we thought they were coming through. We stopped recording trap #3. We thought the infestation was over.
We were wrong.
Rat #3 is smaller than the other two, and we didn't get to record it with the webcam...but they're coming from somewhere, and our <s>armory</s> cupboard is running out of traps to put out.
[edit]Trap #3 is now being reused as trap #4. Because the original place they were coming through doesn't seem to be the only hole, the new trap location means we can't record with webcam (not enough light). Digitial camera still pictures of all 3 rats fonud so far may come eventually.

Awesome video. :)
Hm.... I got a great idea... mousetraps w/ the camera in the trip itself! Closeup view! It could use a tiny SD/MMC card for storage! Or uhh maybe not.
