I am getting silver. Thats preaty nice, for $10 more you get HL:S, DOD:S, HL and CS:CZ.

    DarkATI: *NO*. Half-Life 2 hasn't even been announced as finished yet. They just will start taking your money tommorrow. You will get CS:S in return immediately (as in, you can play CS:S tommorrow)

    Im gunna wait it out for the box edition, even though CS:S beta is very fun. In a month Halo 2 will be out and hopefully, just after that will be WoW.     Umm, HL2 is finished, it just hasn't gone gold yet. The release candidate was sent to valve a week or so back. If it aint done yet then they're fuxored.

    With the ATI voucher, you get bronze. You can aparently upgrade to another package using the retail value of the voucher(AKA $10 for silver)

    + stuff like DOD:S and HL:S aren't done yet, so you will have to wait a while (aka long while) after HL2 comes out then maybe a few weeks (aka months) then DOD:S will come out. Or so I predict!

    that sucks because if hl2 comes out before hlS, which i think it will, i wont be able to go through the hl1 sp mode and enjoy the source engine... even though ive like memorized the story id still like to play hl1S before hl2.... AND im gonna have to pay the extra $10 to upgrade to silver... bah

    I was gonna get 'bronze' but 'silver' works out at £33, slightly cheaper than the standard retail edition (which doesnt contain dod and hl source).

    I pre-ordered HL2 for £26 but I'm not sure whether to drop it and go for the silver package at an extra £7. It does look pretty good though.

    First off: HL2 is NOT finished. Their still finalizing code here and there and that whole shabiz. Secondly, why would VALVe send it to themselves? The RC went to Vivendi, and that was 2-3 weeks ago. And either way, RCs don't mean ANYTHING- they just mean that its basically done, just that a few things need to be worked out(aka, finalizing code).

    O'll. I'm getting the Gold- I don't care how long I gotta save up for it.

    Just going to go with bronze. Get it with my ATi thing anyway. And I don't really imagine hl1:s is going to be that great :|, probably the same level/architexture with better gun models and light effects.
