Ah when i remember the days when i played Fallout and, some time after this masterpiece, Fallout2. Such great memories.
I want some simmilar single player experience and now i want you to tell me which games can offer it. I am not seeking for epic 3d mass battles, i just want something with a unique world, with style. A great story for which i will beat myself for having to go for a lunch brake, and ofcourse it should be RPG...
Please describe WHY i should pick your suggested game and not some other one.

reason: uber SNES gameplay+gfx+plot+fun! <!--emo&;)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/wink.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wink.gif' /><!--endemo-->
About baldurs gate... I must say, i never played it really, just a demo. So, do i need to play the first one too? Will the storry be better then?
They're simply great RPGs, great stories, many places to explore, lots of things to do, etc.
Huh? I had no trouble in BG2. In fact...it was a bit too easy the entire way through.
I'll give you a match, but I use Snes9X. Perhaps you'll like it better, I certainly do.
Good idea but most of my RPG's were allready mentioned <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif' /><!--endemo-->
So feel free to suggest more, give opinions why i should play A and not B, or totally go for C.
Star Ocean's big attraction is the skill system. You can build up your skills, and cook stuff/smith stuff/weave stuff/draw stuff...yeah. Uses a ToP-esque fighting system.
SD3: Simply a REALLY good hack and slash. I'd love to use the netplay feature in (PM me for a name) to play some 3 player- that would be mad awesome. That or contra Netplay. Awesome x2.
What is SD3?
I allways wanted to play FF (anny Oo).
I tryed to get FF8 for pc but it costs 70-90euro(!!!!!!!!!!!!) WTH?!
Fallout tactics was good (although it's a fair stretch from the originals, but the combat system is really well done)
Kingdom hearts was a really fun playthrough...
Ooo, Front mission anything (specificly FM3 and FM4) is PWN on a stick!
Harvest moon is a fun little emersive expand your enterprize style game (any version)
If you can get through the first part of Baulders gate 2, it's supposed to be a fun game ( I never really got into the game). Baulders gate 1 is much more linear and simple, but it gets really frustrating maxing your level out at level 7 when you can see that CLEARLY your character could be alot tougher.
I always liked the might of magic games, they're alot like morrowind, expect inferior graphics to the max, with a tradeoff of more character abilities, and more linear directed gameplay that prevents super man syndrome, and getting hopelessly lost after the first quest.
I'm pretty much compleatly out of ideas now... Sorry <!--emo&:(--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/sad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad.gif' /><!--endemo-->
Chrono Trigger was good as well. I'd say it goes as follows:
FF3(6) > CT > FF7 > FF8

I would play through ever FF game (and I have) they are all good, some just stick a little more firmly than others. IE, in both final fantasy 7 and 8 there are periods of the game where you just sorta wander aimlessly until you accidently run into your next objective... Alot of people quit right there. But the games are still incredible if you have the patience to get over the confusion while you are lost...
[edit] Oh, and I have to say, chrono trigger is the only RPG from the SNES that I don't get board playing to date... Breath of fire and Earthbound were awesome in thier times, but they just lack something that keeps you interested in them compared to todays games.
(NOTE I SAID AQUIRE, NOT DOWNLOAD. MAYBE AQUIRE MEANS BUY.MAYBE IT MEANS DOWNLOAD. NO ONE KNOWS.)
EDIT: I liked CT more than FF6. I don't know why, but I never finished it. I got to the part where you're Celes on the island, with the fishing, and stopped. Meh. I liked FF(4 i think? The one with the jobs...) The most, because you could basically build a custom character out of any of the chars. Although I DID like the ghost train from FF6.

Anyone (ANYONE) that wants to play some netplay SNES just PM away!
Teq, Mario Kart?
FF8 doesn't even belong <i>near</i> those other classic games. <!--emo&???--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/confused.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='confused.gif' /><!--endemo-->

Tried Zbattle?
Thats almost always great.
Far too many Mario Kart / Killer instinct / Gundam Wing Endless duel players for my liking though.
But most people are willing to try anything. Kirby:SS, Smash TV and Contra are always fun. I like Co-op games <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif' /><!--endemo-->, less people bitching about lagkills and whatever then, so its all good.
Definatly try Planescape and BG I and II, three of the best games I've played easily. FF 7 and 8 are great look a little dated now but still good, 6 dunno why, but i could never bring myself to finish it, same with 9. CT is also very good. Avoid Morrowind.
System Shock 2 is of course a must if you liked Deus Ex. But try BG I and II, II is much better, but play I for the whole story, plus you can usually pick up them both for about ?10.
Eh, the first dungeon was okay. Once you get out its okay, but there are some spells that are just 100% stupid, and the fact that the gameplay *feels* like it shouldn't pause every half a second, but the only way to actually survive was to do so(and most of the time it paused too soon, so you really couldn't tell what happened without reading too much text). For me, it just wasn't much fun D:
