At least I <u>did</u> it... the model was here since November last year, and the raw meshes and skins were easily available until Fatmilk went down, and I'm sure there were enough copies floating about even after that... Noone else stepped forward to do it, so I did. None of the few major talents left here seem to have even considered it. There were loads of complaints that it wasn't done, and nearly as many since it has been. Seems to be a common thing here- lots of complaining, and very little <b>doing</b>. It would have been done months ago, if half the people crawling out of the woodwork wanting to change my version <b>now</b> had taken up the project <b>then</b> instead. They may actually help me improve future projects, although what the point of doing them for NS would be, I'm not too sure right now...

well... since i read, that andersen left, and the model wouldnt be released, i was searching for the finished version or parts of it (model/skin/animations).... and no one had them -.-

argh spiff model, but it looks terrible ingame, needs better animations, and a more shoulder and near the center origin, and the shoot animation puts me right off, it recoils massively, but as we know there is no recoil in ns, so it puts my aim way off
the only thing i dident like about the model was the hands, and that was easily done. the fireing animation for me gives it a way more powerfull feeling when i fire it up, other HMGs i have seen look cool and so on, but this is the first that has ever given me the feeling that it could rip open a fade real easy-like

I used to use it until after trying to deal with the fact that the corrdinates are of from the Xhairs and he has Bright orange hands i deleted it and replaced it with the defualt hmg, but WHEN someone fixes those coordinates and make the hands white to match the other gun hands skin ill use it again

people need to realize that skin problems such as this are easy to fix yourself, download Half-Life model veiwer if you dont have it (http://www.milkshap3d.com has it) and load the model with the skin colour you want, export the bmp; load up the warspike; import the bmp over the orange colour; save.
