I was subscribed to SWG.. But then I ended up deleting my kick arse character (Master Commando, Tera Kasi Artist, Artisan ) With a bunch of cool items..( composite armor.. *drool* ) ..I deleted just to be a rebel so I could play with my friends, what.. they like.. seduced me to it! So I lost all interest in SWG afterwards... *sigh*

Maybe I'll download this.. maybe not.. 14 days.. for free.. hmm.. thats about as long as you actually feel like playing the game before it gets boring..

Downloading now, after four botched tries... realized that I could plug it into GetRight with a bit of packet-hackery, and boom. Resumable, baby! Or at least I hope so. It'll suck hard if I still get nudged off and have to start over. Silly ISP cuts connection and reconnects with a new IP if you hit maximum band-utilization past a certain amount of time.
That or they just suck. :b Chuggin' along at 125KB/s, when we pay for 1.5mbit downstream. But it's a 'best effort' service. Ugh.

Dont complain, it's not your ISP. I have a 756 kps (something) connection and I get 25 KB/sec

Well, attempting installation of this seems to have borked my computer horribly. Got halfway through, received a bad CRC error, and hit cancel. It tried to remove what it'd installed, keeled over and died, spewing fiery death all over my nice clean platters.

Going through recovery right now, but I don't know how extensive the damage is.. at the very least, the 2GB installer file is still there... but registers as zero bytes. But is still taking up 2GB of drive space, invisibly. Hopefully chkdisk or Spinrite will fix it up, but if not... I'll be rather annoyed. Even if it does I'll be annoyed, as I'm going to have to download the file again if I want to give it another shot. >:(
