I must say, i'm quite enjoying my time in SWG. There's a few lag issues (US server), but on the whole it's quite cool.

However, there's some people, that just based on their name, you can tell straight off they don't play role-playing games often, <a href='http://esuna.thezazi.net/images/misc/swg1.jpg' target='_blank'>see</a>?

*EDIT: I'm Lo-om Myu on the Corbantis server. I have a character on the Infinity server who i want to delete, but for some reason i can't delete her, and that means i can't create another one on that server. Which sucks.

Myself i'm currently looking for a way to buy it in the UK without paying extortionate amounts. I can buy it from the US for about £16, but they won't ship it to the UK, amazon.co.uk were selling it for £39.99 last time i checked which is ridiculous, and UK stores have had all copies recalled because of a publishing ****-up.

Soon though, it will be mine.

I didnt like it, the PvP was too formal eg "I challange to a duel!"

I didnt have any fear of dying either since cloaning fees were too low to make me cautios.

In other news Id recomend trying <a href='http://www.neocron.com' target='_blank'>Neocron</a> , they have a 10 day trial available.

I played in the beta for 4 months then retail for 4 months, I got back into it last week, you can contact Rellix on the Saturn server.

PvP is only "I challenge you to a duel" if you're a wimpy person who can't choose a side. As soon as you're a rebel or Imperial and everyone knows, there are going to be laser blasts flying left and right. There just has to be a reson for em.

And if you aren't afraid of dying, wait till you get some good items that decay each time you die. Then dyings no fun.

Damage on items is not a big deal, you need the fear of losing items completly.

But the quality goes down until you have to repair them over and over and over.

And you get insurance on the items?
And you can repair them?

So whats the big deal on degridation in it can be so easily counterd by a quick repair?
The whole I worked hard for this and I cant afford to lose it doesnt come into play since items are so well protected.

that is where your wrong. when i first got my computer (80 gb HD) after about a month or 2 i checked out how much space i had left. amazingly i only had 5 gigs. i went and snooped around my HD only to find 2 TEMPORARY INTERNET FILES THAT WERE 25 GBS EACH!!! that would be a much worse download. dont know where the hell i got them though..
