650 polys exactly :o the spikes are 40 polys each and theres 10 of them, so the spikes add up to 400 polys alone, and the rest of the shell is 250 polys (mostly the rim)
Nice job! might i suggest that you highten the sides just by 20 pixels.... it kinda looks bad... <my opinion> anyone is obligated to differentiate my thoughts ^_^
heres the goomba readyroom model ingame. it replaces the player.mdl <!--QuoteEnd--> </td></tr></table><div class='postcolor'> <!--QuoteEEnd--> That's your post with the picture, I did read that. It said nothing about it hovering. It looks seriously huge in that though, so that's why I said it looks too big...
i need someone to draw me a picture like this, but the legs should be just standing normally + the right length, while the arms should be pointing out so hes like a big T. It just makes it easier for me to model thats all, im finding the body very difficult so this would help alot.
i think the goomba looks big because his feet are too small, which makes his torso look longer. Just make his feet the right size, and all things should look proportional.
woah looks great, o_O goomba is supposely mario's height, and in the cartoon =P Mario is sort of like a dwarf. how bout a save box for an ip, (star on the top spins) ? the idea just jumped in front of me while i was playing rpg.

cookie - pop a fill light in with your renders and they'll look much better. Just a low-intensity omni light placed sort of opposite the main light, and not casting shadows. It's a two-second job but makes things look much better. It basically makes it so you dont' have those very harsh black shadows. <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif' /><!--endemo-->

yup, i got em dreamscar, just gotta fit the vine texture to the mesh
edit: Bowser update, i put the wireframe mode on because of that stupid smoothing problem in cinema4d where you connect things and it makes them seperate groups, like you saw on the tail. Please tell me if theres anything wrong with the new additions.
