I think it would be fun if we could get all the NS'ers to agree on a server that we could all play on. In the beta, I was playing on Prime with alius, Hodge, Wither, Gazaar, etc., but DOOM & Co. were all on Pinnacle. I don't want to be stuck in this situation again.
Edit: for what it's worth, Justice is now Ctrl-Alt-Del's server of choice.
ick... that sucks wither, guess I'm not getting CoH after all. The fee doesn't bother me, it's peanuts, but I'm not bothered enough to go getting a silly import =P
The last thing I remember was getting on the forums and seeing the city of heros thread.. then I blacked out. Why do I feel so hungry? What day is this?!
Seriously, it sucks the beta is only now ending when I finally get accepted. I have a cool-**** hero too.
"Stifle" Technology Blaster /w devices

I still am against prime or pinicale simply b/c they will probably be the most popular.

W00t - after giving up a few days ago on actually being able to download the game (before I found out that it ended <i>tonight</i> rather than when they stopped accepting beta applications. I had a hell of a time actually getting the client downloaded, and right now it's updating.
But when I heard about this invasion, I was kind of immediately interested. This seems like something that I'm gonna want to be part of - something that is gonna be a really momorable experience (as well as being an incredibly clever way to end the beta). So when this is done updating, I'm gonna spend some time power leveling so I too can take place in what promises to be the gaming event of this millenium <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo-->

gah... well I thought I'd buy it online seeing as game doesn't stock it here in the lil UK and I noticed that in order to buy off any of the sites offering it you need to do a whole load of stuff including contacting your bank to send the site verification of your account and stuff.

Sounds cool... just don't forget, you can only have ONE character on each server, while it's going for reservation. If you have two, you get NONE on that server. Was painful to go through and delete the stuff I'd worked up. Made a Requiem-lookalike that took about an hour of flipping back and forth to get just right, or as close as possible since the Villain uniforms are locked off for now.
So Squad 5 is a go? Maybe do it up on Freedom? Not sure if it'd be better as 'we endanger species' or 'standing between humanity and all that would endanger it'.
Oh.. CRAP. Tonight would be PERFECT if we'd thought of this sooner (allowing us to be more than level 1), given that it's a freaking ALIEN INVASION that's gonna tear the city apart.
Oh and... if anyone wants to buy CoH with switch or whatever I just ordered it from <a href='http://www.importmadness.co.uk/' target='_blank'>Import Madness</a>. The great thing is that they take switch <b>and</b> solo amongst other payment methods =D

The battle was still a-ragin' when I left (a bit after 9 EST). right now pinnacle is full of people looking at the sky and saying "is this it? is it over?" The saucers are just hovering there and the aliens seem to have been wiped out o.O
one of my little dudes named Shin Kicker (4ft tall). He enjoys long walks on the beach, kittens, and jumping around with this ability on screaming, "I'M ON FIRE! For the love of god someone help me! IT BURNS!"
(fun fact: on one occasion of yelling and screaming, one hero was kind enough to make it rain. sadly, the fire did not die out and Shin Kickers charred corpse laid motionless on the ground for hours.
