Are you the biggest Zelda fan on the block? Well, take a gander at what this Zelda fan owns...
When we read that Paul Hantschel, one of our forum users, owns a real-life replica of the famous Master Sword from the Legend of Zelda series, we couldn’t just leave well enough alone. So we contacted Paul and asked for some details on his little artifact.
Mr. Hantschel emailed blacksmith Rob Miller of Castle Keep, located in Scotland, with the initial concept and original artwork. Around a week later, Rob responded and requested detailed dimensions for every aspect of Link’s Master Sword. After a ten-month wait period and a £1,800 transaction (around $3,300), Rob began work on the sword of legends.
The blacksmith provided updates of his progress during the one-and-a-half-month forging process. With them he included photographs of the sword, which Paul has graciously shared with PGC: <!--QuoteEnd--></td></tr></table><div class='postcolor'><!--QuoteEEnd-->

And this guy made it himself.
The whole thing, made himself.
Same.
It's the "Hylian" Shield.
Therre is so much more to do in life than get replicas of stuff from a video game. Like actually PLAYING the game. Or, instead of video games, do something active like paintball or airsoft, which both rock and you can get VERY nice gun setups for the same price of that sword. Although, swords are pretty cool. But I don't think Link's worth it.
Psh, you'd be suprised how many chicks (or heck, even guys) find tailoring and molding skills to be sexy as hell.

Bruising yourself isn't fun. <!--emo&:(--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/sad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad.gif' /><!--endemo-->
now lanfear, if we could get you a suit of power armour (ala metroid of course) I think you could rap DOOMeh around your little finger <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo-->
That's basically the geek's equivilant of "You show me your's, I'll show you mine." Isn't it?
DIBS!

I smell jealousy.

No, Link never got any action.
Y'know, I could argue that paintball or airsoft are just somebody playing out their sad, pathetic fantasy of Counter-Strike being real.
So, you can either let people have their swords and their costumes without griefing them, or you can stop pretending that saying "TANGO DOWN!" makes you a Cool Dude.™
PS: Just so everyone's clear, the only truly proper response to this post is "rofl owned." Thank you.
And, to be relevant, I'd actually spend that much money on a sword if I could, because, sure, you got all yer technical gadgets, but in two months they'll be broken and new ones'll cost $0.05, and they'll come with free batteries!
[EDIT] And I'll bet that guy Liku has pictures of gets much more chicks then you'd imagine [/EDIT]

hmmm....I'll bet not.
Didn't look half bad, either.
Now THAT was the <span style='color:sky'>a</span>ss-kickage.
