The new assault map is fun.. The new weapons models are kinda weird.. the shock rifle doesn't look like much of a rifle anymore.. the assualt rifle just looks weird.. The link gun.. Well, I had forgotten what it looks like, but after switching to classic model, the new one also looks kinda odd.
Load up BR-Colossus and take a ride on one of the lifts at either end of the area (right wagainst the wall). They sound very familiar.

I found out that the old UT cheats work in 2k4 8) slomo is damn useful. By the way, what are the different "adrenaline full" combos? I only figured out Speed...
Forward x4, Backwards x4, Forward x2 Back x2, Back x2 Forwardx2,Left x4, and Right x4 iirc.
I havn't gotten the chance to test these out, I've been playing Onslaught mostly, and whever I'm in a deathmatch game, I never seem to be able to fill my adrenaline.
Adrenaline Combos New to the Unreal Series of games is the "Adrenaline" rewards/powerup system. As you play online or in single player, you will accumulate Adrenaline points that are displayed in the upper right hand corner of your screen. You can build up your adrenaline by making frags, achieving goals (such as a flag capture or Bombing Run Score), or picking up Adrenaline capsules scattered throughout the maps. Once your adrenaline reaches 100, you can do one of several special adrenaline boosted moves. Once executed, your adrenline counter will slowly start to count backwards from 100. Once your adrenaline counter reaches 0, the combo will no longer be active.
Speed - Key Combination: Forward, Forward, Forward, Forward. Speed gives your player an extra burst of --you guessed it-- speed! This is a particularly effective for players running the flag in CTF or ball carriers heading in for a goal in Bombing Run.
Berserk - Key Combination: Forward Forward, Back, Back. Berserk the rate of fire of your weapons making the more deadly. For instance, the link gun will fire plasma burst more quickly as well as the mingun firing more rounds per second. Combine Berserk and the Double Damage powerup to make yourself a short term killing machine.
Booster (Regeneration) - Key Combination: Back, Back, Back, Back. Booster keeps building your health up to the max of 199. Once your health hits 199, it will start to build your shields up to a maximum of 150. This can help you stay alive in medium range moderately fierce firefight, but it doesn't regenerate your health fast enough to keep you from biting the dust from an enemy's well placed spread of rockets or a headshot with the lightning gun.
Invisibility - Key Combination: Right, Right, Left, Left . Pretty self explanatory. Makes you invisible as long as the adrenaline lasts.
I tryed it and i have to say it was extremely fun. Being a huge fan of the first UT this was a interesting change. I think ill buy it when it comes out.
My computer defaulted it to 512x384 with wireframe graphics or whatever, so I'm not giving it the time of day. Graphics over gameplay, chums, that's my motto!
What's your graphics card? I have a Geforce 3(!) and I get perfectly fine FPS with most everything on normal. (using "perfectly fine" loosely here, as good as in NS or so) Oh, and thanks for the adrenaline combos.

Shield Ownage!! On the only assault map, be defender, and get the shield gun- if you meet multiple people you can still get all of them if you manage to angle the hit upwards so they fly off the rollers! And, the primary fire doesn't use energy!
Notice how the shield gun is pretty much like a medieval time swordsman- he can either use the shield and defend himself, or use the sword to attack others. But the shield doesn't make him invincible, and the sword is short-ranged.

K, got the buggy name: Scorpian.
And man, do I love it. And MAN am I good in the friggin Raptor. I ALONE brought back a game(no, seriously. The rest of my team was fighting at the center against like 1 or 2 of the reds...) with the thing. Had times of 2 other raptors against me, nail'ed em both(I remember one where I got one that was going above the other, and I got the top one, it fell on the bottom, and brought it to the GROUND![Double Kill!]), not to mention it catches people off guard when you fly low. You just gotta learn how to make sure those missiles don't hit you. Its great, I love it. Best demo evar? Maybe.
And best opening strat ever: Grab raptor, get redeemer(top of tower), get back in raptpr with it, land on one of the side pieces to the tower, use Redeemer, use raptor to screw up enemy team trying to get the middle piece(use missiles against vehicles[cept tank- then just stay high and kill anything helping it], and LITTERALLY drag your **** over enemies. If you learn how to do it well, you'll get down to 200 armor on the vehicle, run back to a safe place, repair it[linkgun altfire], repeat). If your good at the Raptor- its perfect. If not: Too damned bad
Linkgun vehicle repair is rather slow, none the lesss
I decided to play Onslaught with a lot of bots just there. It's great fun! Keep away from the node under attack and shoot at it with teh tank. You quickly get double kill, multi, ultra then monster kill. I even got dominating
