    I'd like to use some of these as TSA recruiting posters, but they're not too good. IF you want to help....

    1) Bright. Brightening in photoshop only works so much.

    2) Marines kicking ****. Too many of these are of marines getting killed and losing <!--emo&:(--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/sad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad.gif' /><!--endemo--> Plus the losing ones are getting boring. Too many 'guy with pistol faces off with flying skulk' pics.

    3) Decent size.

    4) No ugly crap in it.

    5) No custom models, or at least obviously custom models. IF you have a custom fade and there's one in the background, barely visible that's fine.

    I thought that this pic was really neat. HA vs Fade in what appears to be such a close up and personal standoff. The angle of the soldier and his gun is perfect as is the position of the fade. I'm proud of this one.

    I never said photoshop. I said brightening in photoshop doesn't work too well. But these pics of a pitch black room you can barely discern the shape of a skulk in is crap.

    I beleive he means Gamma Correction, which makes the pics appear to be what they were in game. I think gamma correction should be OK.

    may i suggest, to get better quality pics, you set gl_texturemode to GL_LINEAR_MIPMAP_LINEAR

    this enables trilinear filtering, which will stop that defined line between the sharper, clearer texture and the blurrier mipmapped texture further away when looking at floors/roofs/walls at high angles. i'd post an example but i'm lazy and tired. mebbe tomrrow.

    This picture brings up Natural Selection's map architecture, that room gives a whole new meaning into "Big room with small marine". Cant say much, im tired.

    maz, i really like your first pic. I love the contrast in sizes of the objects and the lighting. The second one is too cliche, i agree.

    ok here's a whole slew of pics. Some are decent, some are above average, but they're ALL interesting to say the least.

    Three skulks incoming and that marine is staring right at them. He just KNOWS he's toast.

    This is the picture that makes the last 3 seem dull. I didn't realize i captured this gem until i was cycling through the pics from another round of observing. Much to my delight, this awesome pic came out.

    The skulk looks like he's tackling the marine out of the air. No clipping whatsoever. AWESOME. Look at the curvature of the marine's back. very cool.

    CRAP, I screwed up an AWSOME picture! It shows the remains of a battle not long forgotten... a historic battle where 4 heavies and some turrets faced off against 3 oni and 2 fades

    I am the only Heavy left standing

    I re-sized it and saved it as .bmp by mistake... when I went to bring it back to .jpg... this is what happened *crys*

    I really like this one. I had to edit it to get rid of a huge MT blip and a crosshair though, but I think I did pretty well.

    Im totaly new to screen shots and Ive started taking some but I have know clue how to edit out HUD features.
