    Deus Ex was like.... the best thing to happen since Half Life. Massively open-ended gameplay... an awesome story and plot...

    I got it for a fiver from HMV a few months ago, no special offer or anything.

    I can see what you mean. It nearly blew up on me too, FilePlanet's waiting in line window went text-only and for a second I'd thought I'd gotten kicked out. Then I refreshed the window for the choice of servers to get it from, and all of them got reset from ~20 minutes to 1-4 minutes. This is the exact same problem they had on opening night of the line system, when they had insane demand for the huge HL patch with the new netcode.

    Now all of a sudden, as I'm typing this post, I hear the sound that means it's my turn to download, and it's going at only 50kbps. 1 hour or more for the 224.2MB download.

    [edit]But at 4% it's still going and I'm almost in need of a change of underwear from the anticipation of how amazing this demo should be.
