aha! rewriting workarounds to buggy engine limitations for a revolutionary mod! reminds me of what we did a few years ago on the starseige tribes1 MMOPRG mod.

I mean, who cant hit the broad side of a barn with the GL?
And hell, forget the HMG... 3 shotgun blasts will destroy an onos at 220 damage each shot. Thats like a second and a 1/2 of firing from one marine <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->
Bottom line: I doubt you'll see onos with 5000 HP. An armor absorption benefit is much more likely. Yes, the onos and the fade will recieve compensation if deemed necessary.
