If you are unlucky enough to fall into the vent, just use /kill. In that case it definitely isn't an exploit, since that is one of the reasons it is left in the game. Also, you have no other way out, and the aliens probably aren't going to be nice enough to kill you.

What is the link to the screenshots page?
Don't really have the time to check all 90 or so pages for it <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo-->
You want to see what it looks like? Load up the 1.04 version of nancy. It is mostly the same. The few areas that are different probably don't have screenshots posted, since they were posted before the changes were actually made.

He mentioned a possible patch coming out shortly after 2.1 which would be great as it buys some more time. Errors he pointed out:
" - Mess hall and aux gen, when viewed from commander mode, have unacceptably high r_speeds. Commander mode should max out at around 800, and should be closer to 500 or 600 normally. Anyways, yeah, there are a few places with r_speeds higher than 800 in commander mode. The limit in the guidelines when I previously massaged most of the map was 1000 as an upper limit, apparently that's been noticably reduced as well.
I'm going to have to really 'flatten out' the commander-mode version of the map, and probably remove most (if not all) of the 'broken doors' and similair to get r_speeds low enough in those areas.
Not a big deal, but something to be aware of. Anyways, wolfwngs@changa.nu is my e-mail address, and I'm operational again and can work on the map s'more finally. I do appologize for this 2-week SNAFUBAR I pulled off. =^.6=
And removing all my 'skulk clipping' will drastically improve entity-count, also. So I don't see that as a real problem. The ambient noises and particle effects are a significant portion of the entity-count at this point, I think.

he should update the mapping guidelines then. Last time i looked it said commander max r_speeds were 1200, average 600. Max entity 300, 200 recommended. He should clear it up.

For the most part Nancy only needs a little ent lowering, slightly lower rspeeds and a lighting tweek. It kinda puts it a step above some of the current new NS maps...
Who knows how many beta builds there will be until the official build? It sounds like theres a lot of problems so the last one wasn't necessarily the final one before the real thing. So before everyone gets all worked up and hungry for a public release let's just wait till 2.1 actually comes out and then see from there.
