    Not sure yet. As it is right now, I don't want to release this to everyone because there ARE bugs and I know what they are. I don't need a million of the same bug reports over and over again. Maybe within a few betas I'll release something. I also wanna talk to Flayra about it first; I'm not going to release it if he wants to keep it within the 2.1 beta testing only.

    The other problem with a 2.0 release is the updated skulk code-- in 2.0 and earlier, skulks couldn't climb clip brushes and people had to add extra func_wall entities to smooth out rough walls and ceilings for skulks to be able to climb properly. In 2.1, the skulks can climb on CLIP.

    WolfWings said a few pages back that he's removing entities and using proper CLIP based smoothing of the clip hull--this means that there will be spots that won't play well in 2.0. You're probably better off waiting a bit while 2.1 goes through its remaining testing instead of falling off of CLIP textured wall gaps because of the old skulk code <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->.

    So, umm, out of curiosity how did they fix the skulk-clip problem? Wasn't it something where skulks became entirely black because clip textured surfaces have no lightdata? I guess i'm curious as to what made it take until now to put in the change.

    Umm, whatever happened to how there was a big thing about it being renamed, so Flayra got permission from DevilDog to rename it officially to NoName? That was SUPPOSED to be end-of-story. If you'd like, I can go dig up the thread. The official name was changed.

    Exactly. Also they were going to make it Noname "just for laughs" or something like that. That is according to DevilDog. Actually, they coded it so that any hive without a name got named "noname" so it wasn't for just nancy.

    It's been said before, that if you want screenshots, just load up 1.0x nancy and look around.

    However, I am curious about how the vents look without lips... a shot of that might be nice. Also a new shot of Mother hive, to see how it looks with the ledge widened (you did say you widened the ledge for onos, right?)...

    But I'm willing to wait to play myself.

    No the ledges aren't widened. Onos can walk around them quite fine... I think.
