    heres a cell shadet tachikoma my bf have done.. note.. the lines arent that thick.. the textureless ,hard shadet surfaces givin it the cartony look

    he asked me if i can do molds for the tachikoma,so he can make a resin tachi.. but till now i got no free time and material on the rapid prototype machine..

    Edges should be a tiny bit thicker. They're a little hard to see even this close.

    No. Basically you're taking the same marine, and copying him over. You take the copied hull, and you scale it up. Then apply an all-black skinmap, and reverse the faces. However, because it isn't true cel shading (which would kick ****), you're effectively doubling the polycount on every model you do this to.

    Needless to say, cel shading is NOT for high-poly models.

    no, you also have to crappify the model's texture and you have to disable the gouraud shading.

    Y'know what would look great with the fake cel-shading? The Pokemon pack Ollj is working on.

    I have no idea what his polycounts are at the minute, but if they were relatively low, that could look ace.

    Just my opinion , naturally.
