That turned out very nice. Too bad that old Tachi can't keep up with Batou. <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo-->

No. Basically you're taking the same marine, and copying him over. You take the copied hull, and you scale it up. Then apply an all-black skinmap, and reverse the faces. However, because it isn't true cel shading (which would kick ****), you're effectively doubling the polycount on every model you do this to.
Needless to say, cel shading is NOT for high-poly models.
Is that all you've gotta do? and it'll become cel-shaded? <!--emo&:0--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/wow.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wow.gif'><!--endemo-->
omg.... send to ME!!!!! i hav rubbish hosting but i may set up another site if necesassy to host this masterpeice! <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->

would be cool for novelty value, but a) everything is cell shaded nowadays and b) it's not really the idfea of the game <!--emo&;)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/wink.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wink.gif'><!--endemo-->

It is 2000 polys, twice the normal amount.

I'd REALLY love to learn how to give a cel-shaded effect, very greatly =(
I have no idea what his polycounts are at the minute, but if they were relatively low, that could look ace.
Just my opinion , naturally.
