    Very nice, but the shadows confuse me.     this is where the shadows are coming from. there is no light eminating from the sky any longer.

    Ahh, that makes a bit more sense then. I was trying to figure out how those ceiling details were producing those patterns, and it was hurting my brain.

    Its the yellow lights that are putting me off, I'd say remove them ans see what it looks like then. . . _

    Try swapping the yellow lights for red, and making the red door into an ever-so-slightly lit yellow door.

    the hall with the light_spot's looks a little to long, but the rest of it looks good

    I like your style, Mouse, but i'm a bit bored (fustration?) to see screens only. I would like to test a small fusion of these rooms that you show <!--emo&::tsa::--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/tsa.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tsa.gif' /><!--endemo-->

    And i won't critisize about "tooo much light, too much this, not enough that" beacause it's barely impossible to judge an atmosphere with screens (excepted if artwork and not mapping) : there is sound, there is first impression positive or negative, there is the ingame feeling. Just drop a small testmap ?

    I agree, Mouse has the same sort of style Greedo has. Aestetically pleasing yet not meaningful. Although we're yet to see the main of Attrition, and seen as it is an NS classic maps there will / are probably alot of meaningful rooms that we just haven't seen/

    You can tell the corridor's not too long, but since I'm not that experienced at lighting effects I won't/can't comment on the light_spots.

    I particularly liked the ladder inset.

I'm not a great mapper...but zazi, I've checked out ur work, and I love those little things u just whip up in minutes. Mind if I use them in my map? I really need some good stuff.     All I've got left to make is the MS, the 3 Hives, the RR, and then connect them all together. Not an easy task, but not so bad compared to what I've done these past couple weeks with this map. Shouldn't be too much longer before I've finished.
