being one of the guys constantly accused of cheating (especially when I fire a pistol which I can fire at a ridiculous rate with no scripts/mousewheel bind/whatever just using good old mouse1) the only thing I can say is watch long and hard before you accuse anyone. If you havent observed them (as an observor not as a teamate or enemy) dont even bother accusing. No matter how good someone is there is someone out there somewhere 2x as good legitimately. Don't jump to conclusions.

Well easy way to fix is discarding the resource that the player currently has when he goes to ready room. <!--QuoteEnd--></td></tr></table><span class='postcolor'><!--QuoteEEnd-->
The problem with that is what you propose will cause an opposite problem, just like a jerk COMM who recycles everything then leaves. A problem player could f4 and go back f4 and go back wasting all the resources. I think they fixed the resource f4 thing anyhow, theres a timelimit till you can rejoin. If not it is fixed in 1.04.

Exactly , there are a lot of really good people, its like their computer skills are as good as there own body movement skills. Watch them and learn. Dont cry cheater at first skulk killing your whole team or Marine who kills every skulk leaping at them.
Hello friends. This is a very interesting topic to me, a newly hatched NS junkie. I am quite glad to have found a game that successfully incorporates team-based play, yet retains excitement and enjoyment for the individual players. I am fearful, however, of hackers taking over NS as they have successfully (in my opinion) done to CS. Let me add, however, that I am against the addition of vote_kicking to NS, because the truly talented players will suffer, as will the truly lucky ones who once in a while perform an incredible feat but generally suck at life (me). But vote_kicking is by the way. My question, and perhaps this should be a seperate topic, but probably not, concerns why Half-Life is so easy to hack. How and why is this so? Many other games, including my absolute perennial favorite game, Tribes--NOT Tribes 2, bleh--are perfectly hack free. Why is it that the majority of online games do not suffer from the ravages of hacking, while Half-Life is a veritable cornucopia for what has to be, due to the immense volume of hacks available, even the most skilless hacker? Peace.

It's so "basic" that it's easy to hack (or at least that's my guess <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo--> )
