Maybe it would be better to have switches for everything to turn on/off instead of gamemode. So allow all combinations,
Switch on/off:
- Oxy
- Health
- Food/Water
- Permadeath
- Hostile Fauna
- No building costs
The current game modes could serve as presets for those.
I love playing survive with costs but sometimes I would like to explore with Oxy+Health+Food/Water+Costs but not having any creatures attack me I would only get that in Creative but thats too easy
So before everyone suggests a game mode, why not have switches to adopt those things to your preferences?

You can, but you have to use console commands.
