[Bug] F3 Does not work [Build 31112]

I looked up how to activate the debug console and everyone online says to press F3 and uncheck "Disable Console". However, when I press F3, nothing happens. I'm using an intel computer with a windows operating system, if that's relevant. Can someone help me so that I can use the console?

You also need to press F8 so that your mouse clicks are registered.

I'm not having a problem with my mouse clicks registering. When I press F3 and F8, nothing happens at all. The only F key that seems to do anything is F1, which brings up info. F3 and F8 do not do anything in my game, and I'm unsure how to fix this.

I have the same problem. I have done it sometimes. The best way to fix this problem is to exit out of the game and wait for awhile.

I'm having the same problem. F3 never works, I can't even open info with f1. HELP!

Some keyboards are set to the alternate use (brightness up/down etc etc) so you don't have to use Fn+Fkey to use the alternate use (as almost no one in every day use uses the actual Fkeys). So, to use the actual Fkeys, press and hold Fn which switches them back to F1-F12 while pressed.
