But I'm sure if there was a list of **obscenity** coms mine would be there as I lost way more than I won at first and still refuse any items to someone who won't follow my orders (I get a lot of eject commander votes btw).

Just a little peak into my commander strategies;
I once didn't build an armory (gives you ammo) till I saw some fades running around, and then I only built it in an advanced base ...
You think it's mean, but it's deffinatly a way to make your team listen to you. However, I doubt it'd work in public, I'd be voted out in a second for not baby sitting you little punks ... er .. I've been practising but I'm only average. I'm the god of gorg, tho. He has a certain skill that can bring the team back from utter defeat by living in vents, coordinating ambushes, and stealthily destroying the enemy infestation.
There was a guy in Coronas called "Jambalaya" (sp?..i think it was him..) that took over com for awhile (the last one went ROAD on us) and saved us from quite a mess then proceeded to whoop a$$ after everything was secured. Great commander when you're in a pinch..

The best commander i have ever seen and played for was a guy named EvilOne, he brought us back from being terribly commanded with almost nothing left "aliens had 3 hives and ONOS" brought us back within 45 mins to totally victory.... IT WAS AWESOME... Might I add we were out numbered.. someone called foul did some nice commanding when I played with him, although the aliens were not the most skilled in the world, he still did very very well, got us all the upgrades, and equip we needed, he quickly secured any positions we cleared as we advanced with both siege turrets and normal turrets and phase gates, sometiems armouries too, he was very good in the 2-3 games i played with him.

Speedy. Great job of communicating to us where the aliens were and keeping us appraised of possibly ambushes... something that many commanders seem to neglect these days.
I've played in his server quite a bit, not only is he a unbelieveable commander (best I've seen) but he is a great player with a good attitude. ]NC]>DA is a superb commander on Australia servers.
He seems to be able to do 5 things at once. Everytime one calls for orders or health or ammo, he's there. He always seems to be building, and his expansions are very f**king hard to take down. He keeps tight control of all the marines. It's uncanny his ability to turn unwashed rabble into a tightly knit fighting machine. Come to think of it, when he plays Kharaa against me, I usually get my arse whooped as well.
And he doesn't seem to use voice comm... He must have a typing speed near 150wpm. Ouch.

I played a game with the pandas last night (forget who was commanding) and they executed an excellent marine rush win.
Also Phanta something or other. I forget the name exactly but she is a very provocative (sexually <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->) aussie girl, hard to miss. She commanded one of the best games of ns_nothing I've ever played and over the whining of some children because she was a girl. Goes to show you.

But my vote goes to Tyrsis. He was able to defeat the aliens 10 rounds in a row with a fairly incompetant team and damn good aliens.
