UWE your so sneaky sometimes, and I love it! I was working on my map today and typed Fade into the search bar for models and was quite happy to find gibs! They're there for the other aliens too. When you place them its just a shimmery texture so I'm thinking the rail gun will f***ing annihilate so much you explode

Really? Man that's awesome. I kind of wanted to see a fade slice apart a marine if half so their torso and lower body separates. Or a Grenade Launcher literally spilling Gorge guts everywhere. You know if gibs got implemented the Gorge would be so much fun to pop. Or ripping apart an Onos in half with a railgun because you know those things are chock full of juicy organs. Even if railgun only it's a nice addition and I know they said NS2 is not going to be a bloody gory game but it would be nice. Still they're definitely hiding more surprises other than railguns and Gorge tunnels/babblers it seems.

The hit registration problem still exists. You can try and spin it all you like, but it won't change the reality that this problem is present and not simply a matter of 'bad servers'. You've offered nothing to support your point of view other than rhetoric.<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->
We have indeed found a possible issue with hitreg still and a possible cause. We're currently investigating it to help provide UWE with all the information they need.
Weld/Heal-XP = Best Plugin for those, that actually care to support their team with that. And judging by the fact, that gorges seems to get XP for healing Onos(Kharaa-Units), it's highly-possible, that Marines get that for healing their teammates too.
I don't know if this is new or not, but I was playing as an Alien Commander on Summit and just couldn't cyst from Ventilation to Pipe Junction. I had to cyst through Crossroads and then cyst towards Pipe Junction to connect Ventilation. This may have been a mistake from my part though, but I'm leaving this here just in case.
Sporadically I end up in ready room when pressing forward and jump and maybe some other key at the same time. I can't reproduce it, it happens maybe once every 25 games or so. It is kind of an issue if you just bought a flamethrower and jetpack for instance...

Maybe it's related to how NS2 scans key presses.
Damn UWE the Railgun effects that you have in the cinematics file are easily the most beautiful things I have ever seen, the aliens f***ing EXPLODE, if you can I suggest you guys try and find/see it

3 aliens out of 4 couldnt make it. ( about 4/5 ppl were roaming in the rr )
Has anyone else faced that issue ?

How can I fix this?
(geforce 560 ti, 8gb ram)
See how the marine model resolution gets screwed by the umbra fog?

Explosion blurs and pixellates the crates

It happens with basically every lighting effect including the gun fire.
