They did not enter the last steam sale. You had the option of purchasing it at a later date, you decided not to.
Maybe you should just wait for the steam sales in future before paying for games, as you seem to think a game's value is just a number against a release date.

They were given two copies and have been playing the game for at least a year now. I honestly don't see why they would feel bad. Perhaps it's a bit early for 60%, I expected something more along the lines of 25% and a 50% flash sale for one day. Maybe they really need the money, that or they're just being awfully generous.
Ah nvm, I just now noticed it IS a flash sale :P I suppose it'll go to 25% or something after.

Back in 2009 we threw money at the screen and it was money well spend, otherwise this game wouldn't be able to go on sale right before...

Even hitman absolution is 50% off and that's not even in a flash sale. So by those standards the 60% for 15 hours for a game that has been out since november 1st isn't all too bad.

I think UWE did the right thing. Those 60% make the price drop just under 10€ and I 'm positive the smaller figures are a stimuli for those being on the fence. Just too bad that it's the first of the flash sales, alot of ppl won't be aware yet that the sales started and might not check as regularly...

I get the feeling that many people will feel ripped off when they buy the game and rage at how horrible it runs unless they have a top-of-the-line spec pc. Should have waited until the game could at least run decently to the recommended specs listed on the steam page, but that's just me. Not very appealing when the game feels like it has a memory leak as the round progresses...
