I agree, I don't think UWE would drop a potential bomb on release day with major bugs. I think we'll get a lot with 224, and then bug fixes and a few editions before the 31st.
I could be wrong, but enough of these 224 threads :P
No, they said they'd release another before release. A week is more than enough for them to get another patch out, they've done it in the past. Only reason 224 is taking longer than expected is because it's apparently pretty huge.
225 Will probably just be a smaller patch for release, with the last map and some bug fixes and tweaks
I will probably get peramma banned for this, but release it already. Don’t make me hurt Flayra in the mortal way and as for Strayan I’ll just eat him, cause he’s so damn sexy.

As I have said before "we are thay play testers, not them". While I understand the play testers play a major role, release the map with 2, 3, 4, 5 hundred players findng out the bugs. I can't tell you how many times I dropped groge poo into the maines pg until someone complained!
Release it already and lets the pub players tell YOU and the play testers what they missed!

Releasing shoddy patches at a faster interval will only hurt the game in the end as it's not going to be played like currently. I think 222/223 is a prime example :P

All of those Beta tournaments they were promoting hold back big changes as well.
They're not afraid to break fundamental things in order to make large, architectural changes to improve client and server performance.
But I don't see how having more people available to confer the idea that "X isn't working now" will make X work as intended any faster. I think you want them to hire more developers, not select more playtesters.
I also don't see why you would want to play a patch sooner with broken gameplay elements that are extremely frustrating if you could just wait a day or two for the developers to hopefully fix them and have a much more enjoyable experience.
It's not like the patch is being held up because bellyslide feels 1% too slow or something inane like that.
They are called 'professionals' for a reason Camron, they care about our opinions and the community. I am 110% sure they are doing what they think is best for everyone and the game.

I sure hope there is a patch. I played a 2 hours + game last night as Aliens. We could not finish them for the longest time. Finally they were down a player and we managed to push.
