I've never used the plugin; but considering other servers aren't having problems, I can only assume its a problem with your setup.
1) Do you have the server name specified in both the command line, as well as the cfg file? I assume one is different - try deleting it, specify it once
2) Look for that name in your config files and delete it so its only set once
NS2-modifications cannot at this time retrieve the server-name via Lua (quite silly I know, and have been moaning about it for a while), so you need to manually specify it in the GmOvrmind Lua config-files (NS2GmOvrmind_ServerConfiguration_Server.lua Line #19 by default). "My NS2-server" is the name it comes pre-configured with, ideally you need to set it to match your command-line server-name exactly ("Heidis Ziegenfarm (HBZ-HQ)" in this case).

I have another one for you Plasma. How about a button next to a server, that you click on and it expands out a list of players on the server? Might take a bit more time than the previous request, so feel free to ignore it.
I'm not sure if I've mentioned this already, but the new NS2-GmOvrmind will be connectable via it's query-responder. This means the steam connect-button next to each server will work at last. It does require the connect-button to point to Om's query-port (default 27017), not the Spark query-port (default 27016). So if your script detects the overmind-queryresponder, it would be great to set the connect-button to match that.

This is super exciting! Can you please get the features that you have within the tool now to work? Also, I would love to had a kill turrets feature similar to the kill hydras.
Also, I've been told that the black screen is due to the GmOvermind, is this true?
Haha, that would be quite hilarious, to know UWE has been running in circles fixing a bug that I've been causing. But no, I highly doubt it, the last version of GmOvrmind has been running for 4+ months straight now, through ns2-builds that have had varying between a lot and a few black-out issues, which seems to indicate the problem is on UWE's side. On top of that it runs on the server-side which makes it even less likely it could cause such massive damage as a complete black-out for clients.
Anyway just dump any feature-requests for GmOvrmind in it's thread, and I'll get around to it eventually, but I'm doing a complete rewrite so it might take a while (my release-cycles are considerably further apart than Schimmels that's for sure).
Hey, great work with your page! But could you please add an id-link to the server browser? i.e. http://www.play4dead.com/ns2/#servers and it goes directly to that page. I use it often and I always have to click on servers again after a refresh. Keep up the good work! :)
Hey Plasma, I had one idea that I don't think should be too hard to add, and that's showing the local time of the UWE-team so anyone around the world knows their current time. Just throwing the idea out there ;)

How long does it take for a server to show up on the tracker? My current server is functioning correctly. This was verified by another member, but it does not appear on the tracker server list.
and if it does not ever appear, does the tracker have its own port that it uses besides 27015 or 27016? If not, how can I solve this problem? Thanks! :3
i think it takes a few hours the first time as the name and ip address have to be added to that database. after that when you turn it off and back on it takes like 2 mins to update. but the initial time takes a while i dont remember the exact amount of time

First off, I have been checking this obsessively. Great tool! You should add an NS2 community tab for news generated by non-UW employees. It would be nice to see your forum posts from this thread in that feed. Also, having postings for NS2HDs videos. Maybe some map makers could be featured.

It seems that Schimmel's posts are not showing up, but his thread starters are. EG: http://www.unknownworlds.com/ns2/forums/in...howtopic=115483

@stickyboot and Align: Sure; if you have an icon to use I will use that (or if someone wants to make one!), otherwise I can maybe use the NS2 icon from Steam?
@stickyboot: Good idea with the community tab; I think tracking mapper progress and other things like that would be cool. I currently have NS2HD videos appear in the title bar (an 'updated' red text appears when a new video is available), but it would be better I think if it was posted inline like normal news.
@endar: His posts will show up; but his most recent non-topic post is from 2009 and so the site's not displaying it. I currently source the posts from the 'Posts' tab on a user's forum profile, which is quick to load and only shows about the 5 most recent forum posts that aren't too old.

So what you're saying is that the issue lies with Schimmel's account on the UWE forums.
So Schimmel, why does your profile not contain your posts?

Hmm, well it's been over 8 hours now :/ Ah well.
If your server does not show up in 24 hours, let me know the IP:Port and server name and I will look into it for you.
Be sure your server appears in the in-game list though first, as it needs to work there for it to show up on the play4dead site.

would be neat if you could add NS2HD's twitter and website links to the stalker!

thank you
If for some reason you want to hide them, set ?ns2hd=0 in the URL.
