    I read somewhere that if you were in the beta you'd have it showing under the manage my games tab on battle.net even if you did not receive a key yet. It's not an extremely reputable source though, but it sounds plausible enough. I guess we will have to wait and see.

    Source was destructoid but it seems they have already changed it. Seems people are still being added to the system. Crossing my fingers here.

    Yea, they're adding people in groups based on your battle.net info (I'm guessing it's things such as pc spec).

    It would seem that you must have a blizzard game attached to your account, to apply for betas.
    I can't find a single blizzard game with its serial key still with its case. Great..

    I tried adding a WoW beta, and it let me download the system check program. It won't send my information from the program though.

    This sucks.

    e: Will someone lend me their serial for a blizzard game so that I can try opting into the beta with a game on my account? I can only make an internet-promise, not to use it for anything else.

    e2: It updated my system specs. Waiting for beta over mail i guess.

    I'm assuming they are some form of blizzcon key or another event. Since right now it's just your battle net account that gets flagged if you get into the beta and no key is ever given to those that are currently playing.
