I know purists will kill me, but I'm actually more hyped about the single player campaign. As said before, it's basically SCI put up to date to today's standards, with a few perks.

The single player campaign looks somewhat more fun than the SCI campaign. Too bad they're doing only the human campaign and then 2 expansions.

likewise. i'll be in the middle of a game and think, "Oh! i wonder what the backstory is on this new unit! i can't wait to play the single player player to find out!"

also, i may have gotten creamed my first game, but i've been doing surprisingly well since. i think i've just gotten matched up against really bad people. i hope i don't get stuck in a better ladder because i'm beating the really bad people now.

I tend to like the singleplayer campaigns of strategy games more. There's something about strategy games (especially 1v1 games) that I'm not a fan of. I'm more of a coop person. Still, if I got a beta key, I'd be thrilled, but I'm not holding my breath :p

We're still kinda new but we know what we are doing wrong and we are improving with every game.

i just played a couple 2v2 and my partner went out very early game. the first game i just did rines/medivacs and took everyone out. next game i was toss and wasn't so lucky. i killed one dude with a dark temp rush, but he hid with a drone in his buds base, then came back and bit me in the rear when i made a move on the other base.

so far i like pretty much everything about the game except a couple issues with battlenet:

names restricted to letters, and restricted to 12 characters. blegh.
and the post-game stats aren't very useful. i'd like some graphs and whatnot.

I haven't gotten a key so I don't have a sc2 username. Actually, im not quite sure I actually sent a PM requesting a key anymore... it isn't in my 'sent' folder :/
