Thanks for the update! I could watch the shells pop out of the rifle all day... don't suppose there's any chance you'd release the mod with the next editor update? (I had to ask, you knew it was coming.)

Nice! Impressive that it was so little code, too. Let's hope people stop complaining about the lack of visible progress now, most of us know you guys are working hard.

Already have a problem with the editor.. When trying to add a prop, prop does not appear, just a white wireframe cube.

    THIS, (Please)

Cmon, give us dogs a bone so we'll stop barking and shut up. It doesn't have any NS2 code anyway, you said.

OMG the color grading tool is awesome. First thing i'm going to use it for? Making it look like, right after you've left a vent, your eyes are adjusting to the too-bright light. A white light with high intensity and contrast (25ish?) worked pretty well for this.

Of course, that looks odd going the other direction.

Color grading utility is genius. (since I've never seen it before. :P)

Dude. The shells popping out, the barrel recoiling into the gun, the ammo counter going down.... I am in Bliss.

Same here. My graphics card is a Geforce 9600 btw.

edit: Just select the prop entity and choose a model from there for now. That works.

Its nice to see some physics in work with the training targets.

As for your shooting; you were quite weary of that bottom right corner, huh. :P

yep, I can't add any new props. Props already placed and loaded with an old map will load just fine, but I cant add any new ones.

Er, yeah, same prop error for me too. Win7x64, ATI Radeon 4870x2.

Edit: You can copy and paste previously placed props too (whew, alliteration!) but new ones won't go down. I'd say don't stay up all night trying to fix it, Max.

Sorry but I have to say this, despite everything looking very nice I really hope that muzzle flash is a placeholder!

The model placement issue will be fixed with a new patch shortly -- my apologies.

Seconded. Only a tiny nitpick though. Loved the vid, passed it on to friends. It looks great! Can't emphasize that enough :)

Color grading doesnt work with Nvida 6 series and Below. It just turns extremely bright white all over the map if i get near the radius.

No error in the output either. Dunno whats wrong with it.

You have to input brightness and contrast values between 0 and 1.

    ;)

after installing the patch I get this:
    Error applying patch file "C:\DOCUME~1\Owner\LOCALS~1\Temp\update_000078f0\patch0.patch"
    Backup restored
    edit:
run it again and the 134 build worked!

Same here on Windows 7 x64:
    "Error applying patch file 'C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Local\Temp\update_00007d95\patch1.patch'"
Even tried running the Editor "As Administrator", same thing.

EDIT: Oh wait... I had the Editor set to "Run as Administrator" by default. So I turned that off and ran the update with normal permissions/escalation, and it worked fine. Strange this is the first time this has happened.

Yes, the muzzle flash, and any other particles you see are placeholder, or at least in the early stages of development.

this looks really great, and are the 500 lines for all of that mod or only the gun? because it seems not very much if it's for all the mod ;)
anyway, for people with no idea about coding, if they where able to create a little demo like this with like 500 lines of code very quickly, you don't have to worry about the actual game, because it can be coded quite fast that way :)
