I saw video games live, live, and I highly recommend it. They did Civ 4 and it was sweet. They also had Martin Leung (the "video game pianist") play the Castlevania theme on a 100 year old organ. Good times.

Is it me or do the oldschool spritebased streetfrighter games just look better. Sure the animation is more fluid, but it looks so weird and clunky when they keep ducking/walking/hitting etc :D

your watching high level play those are minute adjustments to distance between each players (normal war, that is no special attacks just regular moves), the zangief is using a D-pad and buffering 360 constantly
