I just wasn't sure if this game was built from the ground up around a gamepad like a lot of console ports

If your question is "does this game work with a keyboard and mouse control scheme," the answer is "yes." There were a few subtle clues that this is a console port (such as pressing shift to back out of a menu), but the controls have been tweaked to work perfectly fine with a keyboard and mouse and there was no point in the game where I found myself wishing I had a gamepad.

Haha maybe I could have been a bit clearer when I initially asked, but thanks.

gamepad? Gamepads are when you pad your friend on the back after a successful game of wrestle with a crocodile.

Real men use keyboards and mice.

You "pat" someone on the back.

It must be because someone's made some sort of middleware that maps 360 controls onto the keyboard for quick and dirty ports, but why would they map it like this, WHY OH WHY? Every time I tested a port that had this bug I crushed it like an over-ripe blackberry underfoot.

Not the way I do it, I think we are thinking of two different actions.

But pad is all wrong. You don't "pad" someone. It's not a word for doing that with.

The only "pad" you can do is a way of walking (like silently pad around) but even that isn't used very much. Fairly sure the last time I saw it was in a Sherlock Holmes book.

Why would you insulate and/or provide protective padding to a friend after he has wrestled a crocodile?

And why only his back?

This story of yours is making less and less sense.

I'm not American :(
• AbraAbra Would you kindly Join Date: 2003-08-17 Member: 19870Members
Who said you was? Me? I didn't say you were American, someone else must have said that.
This is about batman, not about who said what.
Stay on topic, shall we? :)

Wait, so you're insulating batman with American crocodiles? That would be one hell of a suit. Although Croc might get mad and sue you for trademark infringement.

Abrah 'lost' the thread.

One win one loss, it's back on zero now, mate. Batman would be disappoint.

Some of the top scores I saw were like 989,000,000 points.

I think some people may have been cheating a bit.

What, cheating? With an online scoreboard?! NEVER!
