I must be coming on off times cuz when I camp, I find... 4 IPs. And from the 4, I see massive vspam. Seriously. One I went to and I saw 15 .3 vspams installed. I gave up trying to install some on his.
Others are very active... I watch them for a while, and usually two things happen: 1) I secretly install vspam on them + hide it... then they scan almost immediately (even though I camp their logs for 10 minutes with no activity). 2) They're all getting money from NPCs.
Right now I have 10, and the ones that are making money sadly are NPCs that are above FW 1. The rest are liter with vspam already that I'm just getting a drop of the ocean. Last night was better though... I found one that had 100 Mbit connection, and I was getting about 400 from him per 10 minutes. Now he's littered with vspams.
Booo.... I clean out my viruses, and I found a vspam 1.5 immediately reinstalled. I didn't get to see who it is, but he could go through my FW 2. I guess he's happy since he's the only one on me now.

It's only 25,000, at least for the first IP reset. I heard that having multiple viruses gives diminishing returns, so if we did virus the GS, it would be best to just have 1 person with a warez virus and another with a spam(fairy sure they wouldn't conflict)

I made a lot of money from kts's GS from warez sharing (more than 3k/hr when I started). I'm thinking we should upgrade the GS to max connectivity. Have exactly 1 person slave it with a warez share. I couldn't get an exact number because other people infected it as well. But assuming 3k/hr minimum (it might actually be 3.5-4), it'd take ~22 days of slaving to pay for another GS with max connection, ~11 days for the next. ~7 after that, ~5.5, ~4.4. and so on.
In a month and a half we could have a serious revenue stream going. And considering that people can DDoS you back to hardware hell in this game, it seems like a never-ending supply of cash is the way to go.
We'd have to break up the group and assign each GS to individual people. But there's no reason why that should throw a wrench in the works if we can organize a secure website somewhere.

I'm also lazy so it was really my only good slave :x I think them has a fairly good plan with starting sort of a GS farm. I'm sure we could organize something of that sort.

Your best bet is to reset your IP after, and to transfer money between banks so that people on your trail from one bank don't know where the money actually ended up... (use a secure bank where the accounts cost 300 or so euros for this hop point)
Umm... But yeah. If you want to reduce the risk of your IP or bank account being snatched (you can't prevent either) you better now how to set up an instant clear... or have someone else in the bank clearing for you when you log in or finish a transaction.
Cracking an account does not get logged, only logging in or making a transaction.
Only other thing is that if you are going to reset your IP and you're diong this hop step at the secure bank, you should only bother clearing at the secure bank. The old IP and the account at the secure bank you should consider comprimised. The chance someone is camping the secure bank though is far less than the first bank (and so the end location of the money could be covered here)
When you make a transaction it only is logged in the bank you are transferring <b>from</b>.

You have all of these fake transfers originate from some randomly designated inactive slave that we upgrade to 5.0 firewall (to keep out the noobs).
The idea being to funnel log entries of juicy (5.0 wwl) slave prospects onto the inactive slave where someone (maybe 2 people) is camping and collecting. We also post a very appetizing fake set of entries of vspam collection from other ip's for people to go after on the slave to prevent them log camping with us for very long.

In a month and a half we could have a serious revenue stream going. And considering that people can DDoS you back to hardware hell in this game, it seems like a never-ending supply of cash is the way to go.
We'd have to break up the group and assign each GS to individual people. But there's no reason why that should throw a wrench in the works if we can organize a secure website somewhere.

Other then that, I like the idea... I just don't think I'll be interested in this game for much longer. Just making money tends to be boring, and getting to the next step (that being, making lots of money and DDoSing people and basically just greifing the world) seems to be a huge time commitment

I think them has a fairly good plan with starting sort of a GS farm. I'm sure we could organize something of that sort.
Use instant clear... To be honest you can't do banks safely. Your best bet is to reset your IP after, and to transfer money between banks so that people on your trail from one bank don't know where the money actually ended up... (use a secure bank where the accounts cost 300 or so euros for this hop point)
Umm... But yeah. If you want to reduce the risk of your IP or bank account being snatched (you can't prevent either) you better now how to set up an instant clear... or have someone else in the bank clearing for you when you log in or finish a transaction.
Cracking an account does not get logged, only logging in or making a transaction.
Only other thing is that if you are going to reset your IP and you're diong this hop step at the secure bank, you should only bother clearing at the secure bank. The old IP and the account at the secure bank you should consider comprimised. The chance someone is camping the secure bank though is far less than the first bank (and so the end location of the money could be covered here)
When you make a transaction it only is logged in the bank you are transferring <b>from</b>.

Also, on the front of camping bank logs. I'm thinking we might want to get a steam community (shameless plug of easy communication). Get 7 people together. Insert 6 people into the banks (1 on each), and wait a good half hour. Then have them start posting fake transfers of large sums of money in a randomized web to valid accounts (each person owns an empty account for this purpose). You have all of these fake transfers originate from some randomly designated inactive slave that we upgrade to 5.0 firewall (to keep out the noobs).
The idea being to funnel log entries of juicy (5.0 wwl) slave prospects onto the inactive slave where someone (maybe 2 people) is camping and collecting. We also post a very appetizing fake set of entries of vspam collection from other ip's for people to go after on the slave to prevent them log camping with us for very long.
