Challenge and frustration is a fine line, that is why I consider that any idea I toss out there for NS2 can and should be countered, taken in moderation, and deemed by the Developers to be worth their time. Otherwise, I would gladly like you hear your ideas on, how did the Devs put it like "1 part new, 1 part old".
I've stated my ideas, reasons for them, and stand by them. If you can come up with something more constructive than twisting my words I would like to hear it. For instance, does it occur to you that nothing will work exactly like it did in NS1 when considering re-writing code for LUA, new art assets, and new tools to build the maps? NS2 is not NS1.5 by any stretch of the imagination, the only thing not being done from scratch is the ideas that were played out over multiple versions in the mod for HL1. Think about it, nothing is truly "sacred" anymore, except for the corner stones of their game design document that they have so kindly let us know about.
Still sure there is nothing you wish to add to help make the game more interesting or fun to play?

NS has 5 alien lifeforms with similar abilities, but different gameplay flows. I'd say a teleporter would be closer to the skulk flow than the fade nowadays.

I still think blink should be tele, or taken out. NS2 is a new game.
Btw, I'm pretty sure that the Fade was named that not because of the Blink, but because it would 'fade' into the walls ie. cloaking - even though other aliens cloak. It's like the Lerk - it 'lurks' in the vents, ready to ambush, even though the Skulk does that too.

I'm not really sure why people want to make the fade stronger.... Last time I played a single player who knew how to play fade would mean an alien win, and god forbid if there were two. Here we go, another 'LOLDONT TWISHT ME WORDZ" post.. It's a pity you can't even read properly let alone post a valid idea for NS2. I never said anything about giving onos' leap, I said they basically already have it (charge). You have completely retarded ideas that seem to make the game even more complicated and unbalanced than it already is, but you don't seem to see that. I realize that you're just throwing out ideas that you come up with, but ideas need thought. Every time I read one of your posts it feels like I'm reading a loose end story that some retarded 8 year old wrote. How can you expect people (or devs in that matter) to take your ideas/input seriously?
Also, ever heard of 'thinking before you talk'? You seriously need to consider putting it into play. If you don't want your words twisted, don't post tard ideas.

Back to topic: How can a Fade be countered when it can teleport or walk through walls? Seriously, wtf. Why do you think they redesigned Blink in the first place (besides the fact that it got you stuck in walls). If Fades got back the ability to teleport they would be too OP as a team of Fades would be even harder to kill.
Imagine the fade now, moving in a smooth arc across the room. Now imagine Tal (cl_rate exploitsolol!?): http://bdropped.ytmnd.com/
Naggy, this is the Ideas and Suggestions forums, why do you insist on inuendo, personal insults, and "wtf" as an way to present ideas and suggestions? If you can't come up with anything better than "You suck", I suggest you consider your own words and think before you type. If you had bothered to read, you would see that the suggestions for a fade that blinks in and out of walls would not be without limits, and even a team of fades could conceivably be hunted down once they run out of enough energy to blink or fade. Unless you have something constructive to add, move on torch wielding troll.
