Did anyone else get a weird thing while playing, towards the centre of the map, all your units just go mad and start attacking each other? I thought it was a Nod weapon at first, until I played as Nod using that cheat/bug, and there's nothing of the sort in there. Plus it happened to me while playing as Nod. Is there an event that starts this that I'm missing or is it just a bug or what.

I disagree with all the people who say this game is more of the same for C&C series... Theres a bunch of useful features added in. You can build cranes to be able to build more buildings at the same time. If you have more than one war factory or barracks, instead of increasing the building time, you increase how many units can be built at the same time. It uses silos as a resource-holder so if you knock them out, you destroy the enemies' resource amount for a time. Definitly looking forward to playing it on a slightly larger map than the demo one. 'Story' mode offers arrows directing you to targets, definitely useful. NOD has a unit that can take weapons from its own units, destroying them. I only wish they make it so you can rip weapons from more units in future updates. Scrin side has some promising units also... and of course Kanes in it, come on!

Only thing that bothered me was the defences: all of them suck and it takes 5 defence to 1 unit. <!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd--> Ummm did you use GDI's advanced base defense? Definitly doesn't suck. Obelisks with beam cannon upgrades? Stick a couple of titans in your base if you want. The AI isn't particularly stupid either. If you build all ground base defenses they come at you with air attacks. If you have a hole in your base defense, the AI goes for it. Theres also different modes of AI that you can set such as Turtle, Rush, etc.

Such as the game giving them free money and such (C&C generals did this, if you killed off everything the comp had to the point where they had no way of getting money and no money (Steal it all with saboteurs)). Then leave them alone for awhile, they would magically get more funds and start building again. <!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd--> The only mode that 'cheats' is brutal. The rest are simply faster than a human player, because they don't need time to click on tabs, scroll over the battlefield, build, click on another building, etc.

Well, let me put it like this, the premise and concept (or core I guess) is pretty much the same, how well it's done, is what has changed, in that way, it's more of the same. To me though, the game's core was not really that interesting to begin wth, so just making it nicer isn't going to sell it to me, at least not at full price. I might get it later after a serious price-drop.

Eh?
The GDI's anti-infantry works good on...infantry, and the sonic turrent rips apart tanks.
2 sonic turrents is enough to repel 3 avatars and other tanks at the same time.

Haven't tried Brutal on the demo yet, but the others are basically a walkover if you're any good at RTS games. As for "the AI is faster than you" ..... get some micro yeah? 150 APM !!!!!

Make sure u upg for railguns, and extra lasers on avatars. <!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd--> *Sigh* I was being sarcastic, due to the fact Waterboy said "turrents", which don't exist.

Why did it happen when I was playing Nod vs Gdi?
