Re: ns2_sol
Okay you screamed for it so here you go
I received some feedback from SCC playtest and decided to make a quick update + a little experiment to see how it works out.
- Added a little opening at ceiling above the southern doorway of Saturn
- Moved Eris RT between Eris and Titan (RT still in Eris location)
- Moved Eris Powernode further south
- Moved the Powernodes in Solar and Lunar
- Moved the Mars - Mercury Vent to be harder to cover from Eris
- Added a tiny vent in Eris
- Changed the light colour in the vents to be more reddish
- Swapped Powernode and RT position in Mercury
- Made the vent between Solar and Mars Marine Accessible from Mars side
- Enabled Lunar vs Solar and Solar vs Lunar spawn Setup
Unfortunately I do not have a screenshot for you cause I forgot to take one while testing and it's 2:20 am... I want to go to bed now
So pls continue to leave feedback. Especially on the new spawn setup. I am curious to know how they work out.

Yuuuup. That's the change from Matso that fixed input handling. If your framerate was low, mouse movements would sometimes be dropped due to a bug in the underlying library.
My framerates are >100 and I've felt that inputs are less laggy and closer to other first person shooters.
Yea it wasn't an issue that _just_ affected lower framerates, but rather it became more and more noticeable as framerate decreased. I noticed it many times, and I usually hold > 90 fps. Definitely a welcome fix.

Re: Plot Holes and Contirvances
There are no plot holes in this list.
There is nothing--and I mean nothing--that brings my blood to a boil more than amateur internet critics calling things plot holes, when they clearly have no idea what a plot hole is.
For those who may not be sure themselves, a true plot hole is an irretrievable break in the logic of the story. It's when something happens that goes against the established narrative, for which there can be no reasonable explanation. (Good example: Ending of Mass Effect 3.)
Contrivances? Mmmmmmaybe, but I'd say even that is a stretch. Contrivances need to have the quality of making the set-up seem artificial. I don't really get that feeling from anything presented in this list.

Ideas For Subnautica Below Zero
So what do you think should be in Below Zero?
I’m not really sure, because i’m really happy with what the the developers have come up with so far, but I am very curious to know if there will be a pet you can have and if there is, what is it? I was thinking about some sort of creature that can survive on land and underwater. I was thinking that you could tame it in the wild or just hatch it from an egg. It should also be able to help with certain things like scavenging for certain items and it should attack whatever attacks you, but it won’t atack what you hit, unless it’s a hostile creature.
So anyways, what ideas do you have for Below Zero?

Re: ns2_unearthed
Hi Kasharic,
Played on the map again last night ,
When suggesting the map most players did not what to play it .
I think like most custom or new map levels they don't know it so why play it. Lets play Veil .
But after the first round in the ready room they all seemed to really like it.
A couple of player wanted to change the map, but mostly all the other players wanted another round on Unearthed.
After the second round most were saying it might be the best map in NS2, even the losing team.
Seems like on that map if both teams are good players they will have a long game with a lot of back and forth action till there is a winner.
So once again Very nice work keep it up.

It really just a matter of personal opinion. Some people love spoilers and some don’t. Some like getting late game items early and some don’t, especially when they are op. You may not like spoilers and getting late game items early, but some people do. It’s a matter of personal opinion.
I'm sorry, but what player would ever love to get a spoiler? That doesn't make much sense man.
Along with that, giving op items breaks progression of the game. This ruins the actual way to play and can just generally make the game unfun if your just handed the stuff you need with no grind and exploration.
A few things:
How's it really a spoiler? I mean, you can get to the gun island by just swimming around for a bit, and get in using the purple tablet on the top. And (correct me if I'm wrong,) there are ion cubes, i think? in there. So pretty early game. Also, it doesn't unlock batteries, until you go to the thermal plant, and the only tablet you can really get, is just the purple one, since you have to go pretty deep already, to get nickel, or kyanite. And even diamond is kinda annoying to get. And even the data base entry just says that it has lots of energy, is probably grown artificially, and is from a larger deposit. And going to the places where you can get them, and stand there for a bit, you kinda catch onto most of that.
the health packs fabricate fairly quickly at base
the nutrition bar I guess is pretty good, but you start with two, and even then, plants to farm are on either island, and on the floater one, you can scan pots, to grow them in.
the cuttlefish doesn't really do much, but be amazing
again, you can farm plants for water
So to be honest, there isn't many spoilers, or op items. And if you really want a non-spoiler, non-op playthrough, then just don't use it! SonicCornetto is just playing the game, chill. Also, I like spoilers, because it gives me further insight into the game's world, so boom! I am the kind of player that likes spoilers.
Say you just bought the game. You know nothing, and are ready to play. After swimming around, you find an odd little storage device on the ground and pick it up. Your given a Ion Cube, a game object that you've never seen before. Instantly, when you find it next, it's not as interesting or cool.
I'm also very against the Cuddlefish, as it's meant to be obtained later in the game. You don't find it until ~500m below the surface, meaning I'd consider it a spoiler.
