Always be optimistic. I mean with 400 more dollars you could buy every player a rowboat and a raincoat or a new pair of Nikes.

Well it's kind of like when someone says "Oh I love getting butt raped by pineapples."
I mean technically you can't ascertain whether they're being sarcastic, but you can ascertain the anal fantasies of anyone unwilling to judge it as sa… -
Good gameplay:
The base lifeform / marine interactions and map control / contestion mechanics to put it succinctly, albeit tersely.
An example to help you understand would be:
Base skulk vs base lmg. The overall dynamic… -
Put shortly.
All the good gameplay aspects of NS2 dissipate as the round progresses. That's just a design flaw. -
lower that bar, baby I"m ready to limbo

Too bad UWE tried to appease everyone (comp, casual, etc...) and pleased no one. Just got a turd of a game marketed as competitive with gimped mechanics for casuals.
Is it just apathy that no one even bothers to ask for better movement m… -
eh all anticheat is pretty much useless if it's not running with system privs.
only takes an hour or two to write a file filter kmd to circumvent any non-kernel level consistency checking that anyone could implement.

everytime I feel bitter about wasting time with ns2, I see this xao scrub whine on the forums and feel slightly better.
weird -
Yeah, none of that will ever happen.
UWE had more than enough time to do any of that if it was ever going to happen. Not a priority. -
The Alabama Assburgers thank you for your service

Play a game with actual strafe jumping. Hell even GTA has a more full featured strafe-jump than NS2.
That's fucking embarrassing. A 14 page thread complaining about a gimped, half-assed version of strafe jumping is pretty fucking funny. -
The biggest problem with strafe jump is that it's not strafe jump /End Thread

He's saying he was the best at a quake 2 mod that no one ever played.
Coincidentally, if he had just been the world's top Woody Harrelson or Randy Quaid impersonator; it would of held equal weight as far as e-cred goes. -
Regular honesty is just an un-edgy way to say you're afraid of hurting someone's feelings for no particularly good reason. Give me a break.

I'm pretty sure that's exactly what I was referring to. Is this real life?

It's awfully telling that RedDog, Hugh, et al rally to "refute" someone with a tenuous grasp of the English language.
I mean all that effort for what exactly. -
you raise a good point, sir

Well not entirely true, but ok; you do have class after all. And by not "entirely true" I think I actually meant "blatant ass covering lie"
I'm confused how anyone that was actually any good at this game is still able to play pubs at all… -
Found it much more amusing that my reply wasn't instantly deleted by someone more than anything.

I bit and tried the game after a long time.
Whatever shred of interesting gameplay this game had the potential of upholding seems to have been left behind completely. I don't know who had the retarded idea of removing any marine incentiv… -

Boy if I had a star sticker for every time you made a mistake or made an ass of yourself I'd be Neil deGrasse Tyson.

Game is sounding pretty sweet; hopefully there's enough people to fill a server or two come September.

Got a rainy Sunday; got nothing better to do than remind you why you're wrong so consistently I guess. But atleast you're alert enough to inform me of my response time.
But to your point, no. Hell you don't even know what the fucking c s…
