There are only two cases tbh:
1: you finish the tutorials in less than 10 minutes
2: you really really need to play the tutorial

Have you actually checked your steam inventor or the incame customization menu? Because everybody with Shadow-Badge i know (including me) got the skin for free. If you haven't got it it's a bug.

You could check out the Steelseries Rival, that one is pretty big too and has a good sensor (I'm using it right now and I don't have any complaints). The Razer Deathadder 2013 is a viable option as well.
