"Exactly" in what sense, might I ask? >.> -
Would anyone else like to see this creature introduced into Subnautica?Bump!I actually came up with an idea for a passive/defensive creature in this forum called the "Lobe Lob". Check it out, you guys might like what you read!I'll be making some the art sometime soon (maybe). Been swamped with RL stuff lately. =|I'll need to practice with that program sometime... thanks for the info.Consider though that if you can find a few floaters in the nearby areas (they almost always spawn for me), getting into a blocked off cave isn't that difficult and could be done very quickly early game. I don't know how magnetite would be found near…(Quote)
Well, you could argue that all the important stuff such as mapping and navigation was severely damaged upon entry into the planet's atmosphere. Also, it probably wouldn't be unheard of that the Aurora's radiation could've contribut…I would have to agree. Seems kinda silly to have to travel a rather far distance for a simple tool's materials to be found only in an incredibly dangerous zone as opposed to having the stuff be somewhere a bit more immediate and accessible (perhaps …This would be vastly helpful. Perhaps have a separate tab on your tablet that shows you what beacon(s) you currently have in a nice neat little list that you can adjust accordingly (alphabetical, or chronological). And when you don't need a certain …(Quote)
@Blackfrog Thanks! For a 5 minute sketch, this is phenomenal work! Also if I may ask, how did you sketch this out? Computer program, or just drew on pap…I think the area we're in right now is a little bit too tropical to have any sort of arctic biome, but it would be interesting as maybe a sort of expansion (say the world was even larger than it is now) and moving to the far north or south would res…(Quote)
That was what I thought as well. If you look at the swim pattern in my picture, that's what I set it up to swim like.(Quote)
Dude, I LOVE it! I originally was thinking that the venom would be applied by a stinger in the tail, but this would make more sense. Great work!(Quote)
Now, I'm not sure that this is relevant to what you're talking about here, but the Koosh Zone and itsIt would be nice to have a widened player-base if they make it cross-platform. At this time though, I'd be content with just having Multiplayer so my friends and I can have fun and explore together!(Quote)
This kinda goes without saying, but just don't build the dang thing if you TRULY believe it to be considered a weapon. You play how you want and we'll play how we want. However, in a survival situation it's KILL or BE KILLED! I'll …Thinking about it some more, I'll probably re-draw this creature on paper and just upload that along with the first picture here.(Quote)
Apart from it just wearing off after awhile? That's what the Venomous Barb could be for. You get a couple of those, you can get an item to negate the effects of the poison. Either a consumable antidote or even an equipment item tha…I don't know... even if you made it as impossible as you're making it sound to get, I think it'd still detract from the gameplay. UNLESS it would only work on ONE creature permanently (essentially consumed on use) and would NOT be able to affect any…(Quote)
My advice would be to build in a shallow area with 4 rooms (or as many needed to break the surface) surrounding the pod so it doesn't float away until they give us something like an anchor. It has worked for me so far. in Should there be underwater currents and storms? Comment by Xamerzan January 2016I think it'd be cool if your structures over time would start to gain coral growth on non-windowed surfaces, which you could decide to leave it on to make your base look more 'natural', or you can remove it as a constant, but optional, maintenance.(Quote)
All good ideas, but as for breeding, they already had something like that called the Water Park. If it's still in the game though, I can't seem to find it. Th…(Quote)
I was thinking it'd be slightly bigger than a Mesmer, but not by too much. The alternative would be that it's slightly bigger than a in Devil Tail (New Aggressive Creature Idea) Comment by Xamerzan January 2016I think they already had an appliance called the Water Park which you could build in Rooms for it to serve as…I would love (and hate =P) to be exploring the ocean and then suddenly coming across a maelstrom! I can picture it picking up your character and Seamoth if you get too close and launching you in a random direction.
