  • Only thing to add is if you are on a comp mod server the tunnel entrance and exit are 2 different buttons 5 & 6. They idea behind this is that you can move either the entrance or exit as needed throughout the game (eg fwd base or new hive).

    Lel, it is more fun when there are gorge hostages.

    It would be fun to get them into the pugs, but they might need a run down with the comp mod/FF/and how to work with a smaller team.

  • I've not had that problem with the key bindings.

    To wall jump you want to be moving in whatever direction you are heading and glance off the walls to gain a speed boost. Don't jump straight at the walls

  • 1) No, but the more you play the better you get with directions and vents/rooms etc. Many people run around with their maps on just to see what is happening in other places. [This can also relate in random deaths b/c you are not paying attention]

  • Having the badge is sometimes annoying b/c everyone is either pissed b/c of the "badge stack" or they want you to command since you have "experience".

    It also irritating when the "pro" (you know the 10 hrs of play time guy) on your team …

  • It depends. I com a lot, but if I am in mumble it's harder to hear in game, and if you com in pugs or comp it just gets frustrating to command pubs when people don't listen.

    It also depends on who is on my team...

    Managing to hold it is the key, but then again I was looking at this from the comp/pug play vs pub play where you can have up to 5 gorges early game... in which case all the tunnels can lead to RTs or at least 3 of the 5. :P

  • Disagree with having to have the tunnel on a res point. The point of the tunnel is not to gain a cyst free res point. The point is to allow for the aliens to have better early map control.

    True, but you need veteran commanders. The commanding aspect is something you learn how to do better the longer you play on the field. (you learn the basics like tech trees and where RTs are located).

  • I like it at 7 personally. We were almost shut into our Sub base on Summit for 10 minutes. I grew 2 other hives since they were so focused on one part of the map and we used xeno to push them out of maintenance access.
